There are different spirits that specialize in different things. I was demon possessed and had a few specialists working on me, before I was delivered.

God created satan as he created all the angels. Satan was one of God's angels. Actually, he was a general in God's army of angels. He was right at the top, but that wasn't good enough for him. He wanted to be the top and that was his downfall.

Whilst God created him, his actions were of his own choosing and now he is suffering the consequences of those actions.

Not knowing anything about me or my life, your statement is nothing more than pure speculation. A wildly incorrect speculation.

"IF" you do not believe in demons, then do you believe there is a devil? We have Jesus who died on a cross for our benefit......THE INDWELLING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. God being all powerful, all knowing, and gracious. Sent His Son so that we may HAVE ONE POWERFUL SPIRIT LIVING IN ALL THOSE WHO BELIEVE AND RECIEVE, ( thats GOD ). but.........satan does not have one spirit to dwell......therefore you have "unclean spirit" aka "demons" that have to do his work......whereas we have the ONE and only SPIRIT (holy ghost) that is SO POWERFUL that it only took ONE........ STAY BLESSED MY FRIENDS !!!

I just thought I would share that your statement conclusively means that (by your own testimony) you have never met a single real life person inhabited by the Holy Spirit. Which means that you have never in the whole of your existence met a true Born Again believer. Presumably, you have never read any of the thousands of books testifying to the lives of contemporary or past saints. Or the millions of Christian martyrs contemporary or historical). I point this out to make you aware that it's not that such disciples of Christ do not exist or have not existed in the past but to make you aware that your experience with true Christian believers is completely void . The Hindu you met is merely masquerading as an angel of light. A Hindu does not and can not have the Holy Spirit residing within them so he *is* a counterfeit.2 Corinthians 11:14

Please understand that I'm not challenging your testimony of never having met a true Christian. It's very likely that you truly haven't met one if a Hindu is the most Christ like being that you can cite. I believe you.

As a Born Again believer myself I can unequivocally state that I have met Christians who are very much exhibiting the fruits of the Spirit of God. Of course I have also met many deceived people who think they are Christian when they are not. While there is no being that is fully sanctified in the completed image of God , there absolutely are people who are very advanced in their spiritual walk and who are very enlightened people living at advanced levels of purified and Holy existence. And if you yourself have never met one or read about one then you have only had exposure to apostate Christians (who are not real Christians at all ) and not true Christians. This means you have never , ever met a true Christian.

First of all, I never said that I have never met a true Christian. Over the past 73 years I have met a great many of them. I have also met in greater numbers plenty who claimed to be true Christian. As for the Hindu, he is a person not a "being" and I simply said he was the most Christlike person that I have met.

Sir, when you state that a Hindu *is* the "most" Christlike person that you have metthe you ARE saying that you have never met a true Christian. You are stating that "THE MOST" Christlike person that you have ever met is HINDU! Therefore you are stating that a Hindu has obtained to superior Christlikeness than an individual who has the Holy Spirit dwelling within them?

So either you are saying that an impersonator is more Christlike ( in your opinion) than any Christian that you have ever met OR you have never met a real Christian.

Sir, this is your own testimony! Please don't imply that I have twisted or misinterpreted your statement.

Is this article incorrect? I don't promote the site because it's full of heresy, btw.

Where is it said this about Satan? I don't recall it saying that in the Bible at all.

(And if you point to Isaiah 14:12-15 (especially if that's your only evidence), be warned, you WILL get a lecture from me as to why that's wrong.)

When I use the word "Christlike" I am merely referring to his words and actions --- his love, his compassion, his charisma, his inclusiveness and his complete lack of arrogance and condescension remind me strongly of Jesus more strongly than any other person I have ever encountered. I do not know the state of the soul of any person and neither do you.

I didn't read it all, but I glanced at it.

There are slight misunderstandings, such as human beings being temporarily confined by an "earthsuit" (body) ... in truth, God CREATED MANKIND to be body + spirit, and our bodies will be resurrected. Depending on where you go in Theology, this can be anywhere from a minor error to something that leads to even more misunderstanding.

I take greater exception to the idea that the serpent in the Garden of Eden who tempted Eve is just a random, creaturly, animal serpent, who happened to tempt/deceive Eve. That is a much greater error. Will our pet cats and goldfish try to tempt us next? Were they "fallen before the fall?" It creates all kinds of problems.

But yes, demons are spirit beings, created by God, of the class of angels, and demons are fallen through sin and rebellion (which the author also doesn't seem to want to endorse the details of).

It's not so much that what they said was in error, but the thinking that goes with it 99% of the time, so to me it is almost surely implied.

Very commonly people will consider that they are spirits, trapped temporarily within this body. The "earthsuit" didn't really go into all those points.

But we are actually beings composed of a body and a spirit. Neither one without the other is fully human. This isn't just a "suit" we wear, it is part of who we are. So much so that God will one day resurrect it, and once again it will be joined with our spirit for all of eternity.

Like I said, depending on where you go, it can be just a minor point. But there are actually important points that it leads to. Remember after the resurrection comes the judgement, and persons will receive according to what they did while in the body. The BODY took part in committing good works and sinful deeds, and it, along with the spirit of the person, will reap the results. Also, that is part of our priestly role in regards to creation. We are a part of the material, created world. It is because of this that all creation is fallen and now groans, awaiting redemption. And it is partly because of our redemption (through Christ of course) that the rest of creation will be restored. This is (again) related to our priestly role. And so on. In some ways it can be very important, depending on what topic you are considering.

Ah, forgive me please, I just realized what forum area we are in. This isn't the place for theological discussion, so if any further discussion is wanted, please feel free to pm me or start a thread and tag me. My apologies to the OP.

Most of the gay women I know have been molested, some by Christians.
I've heard most hookers have been molested to.

I'm just saying most things are beyond peoples control, your only born of god through love, not sex.
Wasn't it some show called the duggers that said they hated gay people but loved there family member who was a molester.
Jesus said with the measure you use it will be measured to you, if you judge by the law you will be judged by the law.
Jesus also said let the one without sin through the first stone.
    And everyone sins.
    1 peter chapter 4 verse 8
    love covers many sins.
it's also written somewhere a kind person benefits themselves.
I don't think there's a demon that causes sin since when we're a true Christian we're not under the law.
The only purpose of the law was to lead us to Christ.
