The question we must ask ourselves is this: If Jesus cast out demons as part of His ministry, why has the Church become so hesitant to do the same?

Deliverance is not a fringe doctrine. In Mark 16:17, Jesus said, “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils…” The ministry of deliverance was never meant to be an occasional intervention — it was intended to be a consistent demonstration of Christ’s power and compassion. Yet, many Christians today suffer silently, tormented by fear, anxiety, generational curses, and spiritual oppression, all while being told that believers cannot be afflicted by demons.

As a deliverance minister and pastor, I have witnessed firsthand how demonic oppression hides in plain sight — even within church walls. People who love the Lord, read their Bibles, and serve in ministry can still be plagued by nightmares, addiction, sexual torment, and even suicidal thoughts. They do not need judgment, they need help. They need freedom. They need Jesus, not only as Savior but also as Deliverer.

I totally agree with you that Deliverance is important. I have met people who report and instantaneous deliverance from oppression that only fits with what was reported in the gospels.

I have anointed the doorposts and window sills of our home with some olive oil that was blessed in the name of Jesus or Yeshua and there was a shift in the atmosphere there very quickly.

You may not know this, but there is a common sentiment among protestants that if you need deliverance then you're not saved.

Yeah, my understanding is people who teach that believe you are somehow spared from it. I disagree. I think if you are saved, if anything you'll be attacked more. I agree he will see you thru in the end. I think it comes from 'Jesus just wants you to always be happy' theology.

First - Salvation is deliverance:

Col 1:13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,​

Second, many (not necessarily you) try to get believers delivered from what the Word of God calls flesh.

Gal 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.​
