Jesus was not on a high mountain, but he was in the wilderness for 40 days. Unless he came back on the Sabbath, he missed the holy assemblies during that time.
Keeping in mind the thread topic about whether it is good to mow a widow's lawn on the Sabbath, is it good to follow the spirit into the wilderness with no other humans around for 40 days?

You become aware of the widow's need just before sunset on Friday. But you're planning to leave in an hour to drive 4 hours to speak at a Sabbath assembly that you committed to be at.
I'm not arguing with the text, it seems clear enough to meYour argument as usual "is with the text".
Is this allowable work on the Sabbath?
