It's broken down into atoms?Genesis 1. And, a nuclear explosion. Tell me, what happens in a nuclear explosion to all the matter in range?
ATOMIC PARTS ARE MATTER!Again I will ask, you do know exactly what happens in an atomic explosion? It is a scientific fact. It will destroy in a direct hit. It will create a crator miles wide, deep and long. Everything will have been vaporized (rendered down into atomic parts).... it destroys matter. Your statement is scientifically wrong.
I did, and I replied to it.Look at Violet's post, please.
I have studied science more than enough. I have studied enough to see scientists disagree among themselves. If you learn from a handful of scientists who happen to be in agreement, then I can understand why you believe that way, but what happens when you go outside of that group and see the controversy that scientists go through just to try to find the truth? It is a very rocky road to try to navigate. What do you mean it's not a scientific fact?
Do you have examples of matter or energy that can be created or destroyed?
I'm sorry you don't understand science, but I'm going to stop replying to you unless you can provide an example or accept scientific truth for what it is.
Saying something has been "vaporized" does not mean that matter has been destroyed. It means that it has been turned into vapor. The energy of a nuclear explosive is initially released in the form of gamma rays and neutrons. When there is a surrounding material such as air, rock, or water, this radiation interacts with the material, rapidly heating it to an equilibrium temperature in about a microsecond. The hot material emits thermal radiation, mostly soft X-rays, which accounts for 75% of the energy of the explosion. In addition, the heating and vaporization of the surrounding material causes it to rapidly expand and the kinetic energy of this expansion accounts for almost all of the remaining energy. --Wikipedia
Notice "vaporization". That means destruction of.
It is still destroyed. You said it couldn't be destroyed.ATOMIC PARTS ARE MATTER!
>_< >_<
Guys, even if it's vaporized into dust it is STILL matter.
Matter is made of atoms which in turn is made of sub-atomic particles.
It is IMPOSSIBLE to split a sub-atomic particles.
In a different sub atomic form. The original form is destroyed.Saying something has been "vaporized" does not mean that matter has been destroyed. It means that it has been turned into vapor.
Vapor is another word for gas, which is a state of matter.
STILL MATTER.
All scientists are in agreement over the 1st Law of Thermodynamics.I have studied science more than enough. I have studied enough to see scientists disagree among themselves. If you learn from a handful of scientists who happen to be in agreement, then I can understand why you believe that way, but what happens when you go outside of that group and see the controversy that scientists go through just to try to find the truth? The explosion creates a CRATER in the earth, but there's still ground there.
You're joking, right? In a different sub atomic form. The original form is destroyed.
The FORM is not important. In a different sub atomic form. The original form is destroyed.
The way I understand it is atoms make up matter. Atomic parts, or sub-atomic parts is not.ATOMIC PARTS ARE MATTER!

Yes atoms make up matter. A nuclear explosion breaks up the atoms, and it is no longer matter. I'm sure there are scientists that disagree on this point too.The FORM is not important.
It's still MATTER.
If you break any kind of matter down, be it a gas, or a pop can or a human or a couch, it's all broken down to atoms.
Atoms make up EVERYTHING.
Everything is made of atoms.
Atoms=matter.
Okay. The way I understand it is atoms make up matter. Atomic parts, or sub-atomic parts is not.
Not really.... and I know scientists that have said so.Okay.
Okay.
Everything is made up of matter.
Anything you can see or touch, the air you breathe, everything alive.
All matter.
Matter is made up of atoms.
When you split an atom you get a sub-atomic particle.
You can't get any smaller than a sub-atomic particle because matter cannot be destroyed.
A sub-atomic particle is STILL MATTER.
No.Yes atoms make up matter. A nuclear explosion breaks up the atoms, and it is no longer matter. I'm sure there are scientists that disagree on this point too.![]()
Link me a scientist who says that, or you're lying. Not really.... and I know scientists that have said so.
