I'm 37, the chemical change to 30 wasn't so bad, but the one i had recently has been rocky. Finding it harder and harder to relate to anything at all really. Fortunately, I'm not really attached to the stuff that alienates me ... so I guess I'm looking for something "else?" . It's interesting anyway.
Finding it hard to relate to anything.
Hmm. Great way to put it, as I could say that some times I feel the same.
Right now, at age 34...I'm feeling a bit disconnect from the rest of the world. That's tonight, of course.
Tomorrow might be a different feeling and emotion.
I think disconnect is a good thing, it signals the beginning of something new, it's like my mind and heart is saying "nothing that exists is like what I want to do." Another change of my 30s has been that I learn to do things supernaturally that I used to identify as needing a lot of people to accomplish in previous decades. Gifts bestowed earlier mature and become far more effective in accomplishing their purpose. So though the disconnect usually feels bad in a sense because there's no momentum, I understand it is good because usually something new comes out of it.
.
I think the prolonged period of disconnect I was experiencing has communicated at least the direction to go.
.
I hope something new and encouraging comes out of your disconnect
@look4hope, thank you for the encouragementand for connecting, John 17 Jesus prayed "may they be one as we are" the "word" i get from the connection is "keep being genuine, the balance is the best part."
I hope you have a great day.
Not sure why but recently, when I wake up...first thing that come to mind is the realization of being 31. Wasn't it just yesterday when I took a trip to Europe,
was out n' about, with out a care in the world?
No....I keep thinking I'll wake up 24 again.
How marriage and children completely change the dynamics of the life you live.
Anyone else going through this?
Feels great to know I'm not alone in this.
Tell me your experience of being 30 something.
