the church is the believers that were taught the apostolic teachings

Im not a Catholic, so, your Catholic theology does not have a part in my Christianity, or anyone else's who is not a Catholic.
You dont realize this?
Time to realize it.

The original heretic, was Satan, who questioned God's words when talking to Eve.

It was satan who said “surely you will not die” as he told Eve to go ahead and sin.

So, when you see someone who has no use for the bible, because they want to correct it with Greek they can't even read, you've discovered the same issue.

“Someone who has no use for the Bible”? No, someone who wants to better understand the Bible. That’s why people study the Greek and Hebrew languages.

Not to me.

But you can’t support your claim. You just draw that out of thin air just like you did by saying that the book of Acts was also written by Paul. Does this appear to be written by Paul?

“It happened that while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul passed through the upper country and came to Ephesus, and found some disciples. He said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” And they said to him, “No, we have not even heard whether there is a Holy Spirit.” And he said, “Into what then were you baptized?” And they said, “Into John’s baptism.” Paul said, “John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in Him who was coming after him, that is, in Jesus.””

Youve been led to believe that you can understand the Greek if you read what someone tells you it means., as you can't read it.
So, if that makes good sense to you, then so be it.

WE are told to "compare scripture with scripture" so as not to become lost in a heresy that is caused by reading the bible as if its a novel.

A good way to start would be not to over-think it and just read it as you would a novel. The important thing is to read it, not how you read it. It is a story, the story of God's relationship with His people and how His people often misunderstand this relationship. As you and I do, as I'm sure you'll agree.

But you can’t support your claim. ‬‬

I can't get you to see that the same message preached to Jews in Act 28, is the same one they heard in Hebrews 10.

you would think........"well, i can see its the same message, and its again lost HEBREWS, but i dont want to accept its the same person giving the same message in the same situation, 2x".

Sure.

God said to "study to show yourself approved to God".. In the NT that you are not studying.
Dont overthink that, just do it.
Start anytime you like, as that is how your Freewill operates.
I started long ago.

You never seem to mention the OT. Why's that?

Because Jesus is the Author of the New Testament, and im the spiritual creation of the New Covenant.

If im trying to serve God according to the old testament, then im chasing Moses Law and commandments, which means im "fallen from Grace" and "in the Flesh".

The born again are products of the NEW Birth, that is a function of the Blood Atonement that is not found in the Old Testament, unless you can find a verse in the OT that shows God on the Cross dying for your sin in the Old Testament.

The word "study" in some translations, e.g., The King James Version, is not the equivalent of the word "study" in modern English. The Greek word in today's English means make every effort, do your best, etc.

Your interpretation is wrong.

How about Isaiah 53:5

But he was wounded for our transgressions,
crushed for our iniquities;
upon him was the punishment that made us whole,
and by his bruises we are healed.

You're not getting the whole story if you dismiss the Old Testament. I recommend starting it first thing tomorrow.

The Old Testament is the majority of modern Bibles. It is just as much God's Word as the New Testament. You should read it all as God's message to humanity.

Its the word of God demanding, not suggesting, what to study, and why.

What do you think your doing when you read the Bible in English? Your still trusting whoever translated it. So your point makes absolutely no sense at all. I’ve found errors in the KJV translation by examining the Greek and there are many Greek words that can’t accurately be translated into English because there is no single English word that fully encompasses the Greek words. Like metanoia or pisteuo, pistis, or pistos. The English words faith, believe, and believer do not fully encompass the same definition as the Greek words they were translated from.

Ive preached Christ on the Cross, in at least 10 posts today.
Ive stated this verse...>"the preaching of the Cross", a few times today.

I'll let you study the fact that in every Thread i have posted on this forum, and its quite a few, i always talk about the blood of Jesus and the Cross.

Try paying attention.

Did, and still do.

1.) New Testament
2.) Paul
3.) James Kennedy
4.) Adrian Rogers
5.) Lloyd Ogilvie
6.) Studying the life of past Saints who were not of this world but still in it, and what causes this, and how to be the same.
7.) Seminary Training

What you will notice about my forum lessons is that they all wind up at the same place.

1.) The Cross
2.) The Blood of Jesus

Giving all Credit to Jesus as the author and finisher of our Salvation, is what i PREACH and TEACH.

Pauline Theology.

Philippians 1:6

Again it does not have the same meaning as "study" does in modern English. Ask any student or teacher if you don't understand. Again, the Greek word correctly translated into today's English means make every effort, do your best, etc.

BTW, what does "approved to God" mean? In English, 2 Timothy 2:15 says, "Make every effort to present yourself before God as a proven worker who does not need to be ashamed, teaching the message of truth accurately."

"... approved to God" has no meaning in the English we read/write/speak every day. => Get a new Bible <=

Your words: "It's all God's word". All of it, from Genesis to Revelation, is to be read as just that: God's word to humanity.

If you disregard the OLD covenant, you are a long way from understanding the Cross. Also, the reason the New Testament exists is because the disciples and/or apostles wrote the "books" (gospels, epistles, etc.) Don't you understand the difference between the "testament" and "covenant"?
