Never try to use a symbolic verse to prove legalism.
Right. Name it and claim it is so much easier. What does abiding in the Holy Spirit
have to do with legalism? He is the Law, written on hearts, available to believers
who are of a pure conscience.

Jesus is the " LIVING Bread come down from Heaven".
Jesus is "God, manifest in the Flesh".
All that believe in Jesus, shall be born again (saved)". "made righteous".
Jesus , the Living Bread says...>"all that come unto me, i will in no wise cast out".

Jesus says, "all that believe in me, shall never perish and i give unto them, eternal life".

Jesus said, "if you believe that i am not the Savior, you will DIE IN YOUR SINS".
Do you know the difference between the written word and the spoken word?
Mark 12:27 He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living. You are therefore greatly mistaken.

Its not an "interpretation", its a fact.
Its a fact that the "circumcision made without hands. Colossians 2, is a fact.
Its a fact that the born again Spirit can't sin, as this is born again into the Spirit of God, and there is no Sin found in God, or in God's Kingdom, where all the born again exist.
Thats a fact.
1 Timothy 1:
1
Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith,
giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,
2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron.

God is not interested in your "patience".
He only interested in your Faith in Christ.
He will accept you for no other reason.
He is the God of patience.
Romans 15:
1
We then who are strong ought to bear with the scruples of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
2 Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification.
3 For even Christ did not please Himself; but as it is written, “The reproaches of those
who reproached You fell on Me.”
4 For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through
the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. [this what you mean by legalism?]
5 Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus,
6 that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

You suggested that we resolve, 1 John 1:8-10, with 1 John 3:9. Can we get back to that. Since
you are the one with the conflict. That would be a fruitful discussion, if you were to respond to
John's simple explanation that He borrowed from the Messiah, "if you abide". Deal with it, no
symbolism necessary.

When you can teach the "blood atonement", then you'll know.
Not till then.
atonement not a new testament word. Try reconciliation.
Romans 5:10 For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through
the death
of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
Do you see it? You are reconciled at the cross, by His blood.
You are saved by His Life! Where He sits at the right hand of God.
There is no salvation without both the resurrection AND the ascension. Could Christ have stayed
on earth after the resurrection and established His Own kingdom? We are saved because He
is in heaven, seated at the right hand of power, until His enemies become His footstool.
How are you born again? When the Lord gives you the Holy Spirit from heaven.
You are missing way too much here.

1 Corinthians 15:14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
John 8:23 And He said to them, You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.
Colossians 3:
1
If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above,
where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.
2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
4 When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.
Hebrews 7:
24
But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood.
25 Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God
through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
Hebrews 8:
1
Now this is the main point of the things we are saying: We have such a High Priest,
who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens
,
2 a Minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle which the Lord erected,
and not man.
