Depends on how you define the word: "earth". The High School Biology book that everyone is required to read tells us about a biodiverse eco system. Clearly Noah had the plants and animals of Eden on the ARK. Man needs a whole eco system to survive. They have to have food to eat.

Your right, we don't know exactly how old the earth is. But we do know that it's between 6000 - 10,000. We have records that confirm this estimate to be accurate.
I suppose there is a point in this, but I do not know what it is. Man has to produce food to feed the people. Natural selection would keep a few million people alive at best.

That doesn't make sense to me. How can the earth have been 6 days old when it was first made? God made the heavens and the earth on Day 1, so when the earth was made it was brand new.
We have detailed records from the first humans on the earth and they confirm that humanity is around 6000 years old, but the earth itself many be a bit older. So that's it, we can trace every generation going back to Adam and Eve
