It's always been happening now. But there's always also been a supposed point of no return that keeps getting pushed back. Delaying what exactly? What have the other countries done that the US hasn't?It's not right around the corner any more, it's happening now--and we are the only modern industrial country which is "delaying."
It's still happening now and getting worse. Have you tried buying homeowner's insurance in Florida lately? It's always been happening now. But there's always also been a supposed point of no return that keeps getting pushed back. Delaying what exactly?
Look into the Florida Land Bubble and what made it pop. A neighbor remembered wealthy relations investing heavily in the land boom and driving down in a car. After the bubble popped, he remembered them walking back with only the clothes on their backs. It's still happening now and getting worse. Ah so the insurance companies are getting in on it too. Because Florida had a hurricane. What's next, tornados in Tornado Alley? It's still happening now and getting worse. Have you tried buying homeowner's insurance in Florida lately?

Dishonestly though? Honesty is still the best policy, even while duking it out, eh? Rare to see though , too. When the actors and the rules permit, and a conversation involves duking it out with someone in open forum, it is not difficult to finally get to the truth about the motives/motivation/agenda , to bring all out in to the light, and silence the wrong-doers; however, most (almost all?) posters do not want that kind of exposure, and the rules prevent getting to the truth....... actually it also is , as God Orchestrates, a kind of safety net , to protect naive/ innocents from overwhelming opposition , mis-used power ..... ?Well, they were duking it out.
Some deny AGW, some make fun of it, but I still don't see a reason for it. What's wrong with taking steps to mitigate it? Why do you have to pretend it isn't happening?
You use terms that are so vague it sounds like magic handwaving. Why delay what? This has been going on for over 50 years. In 1992 there was a girl just like Greta Thunberg addressing the UN about how horrible things will be when she becomes an adult. She might be a grandmother by now. So no, I don't think it's that much of a problem, because I've been hearing it's a drastic problem right around the corner, ever since I was a child back in the 70s.
So how much of a problem would it need to be before you think taking corrective action is called for? A mass extinction event in full swing? Crop failure the world over? Mass deforestation? What's the threshold? Why delay what? This has been going on for over 50 years. Maybe. It was a huge boom that went bust right before the Great Depression. I think the neighbor's relatives were wiped out after the Lake Okeechobee Hurricane. That one claimed over 2,500 lives. At the start of the boom, no one gave much thought to hurricanes. They did after it was over.Isn't there a term for that: "Buying swampland in Florida"?
And they're doing it again without much thought to hurricanes. So let's say the AGW alarmists are right, and hurricanes are going to become, on average, stronger and more numerous. There will be a lot of property and infrastructure damage that must be repaired, over and above whatever emergency and short term aid is provided. Hurricane damage is already costing us 150 billion per year and the curve is said to be rising rapidly. That's a lot of money. Diverting it from more productive use slows the economy; just a little, but then there are the wildfires out west to think of--how many billions is that going to cost us? Yes they were foolish to build there may be but the bill is due, and in the end it will come out of our pockets. Sea level rise a little bit? No big thing? But every year the wave damage comes a little farther inland. I don't know if you saw on the news the last hurricane that came close to us in NC, but there was lurid footage of beach houses being swept into the sea. The thing is, those houses were already abandoned due to the waves gradually coming farther up the beach. More money for remediation. AGW is going to start costing us more money than we can afford. For us, that's the armageddanMaybe. It was a huge boom that went bust right before the Great Depression. I think the neighbor's relatives were wiped out after the Lake Okeechobee Hurricane. How long have these records been kept?Meanwhile NSW is about to experience record-breaking heat for October today.
historically, the world church/babylon incognito/ planned bankrupting all the towns, cities, countries, and people long (centuries) ago; every year, every day, all the way.costing us more money than we can afford. For us, that's the armageddan
There hasn't really been a significant change anywhere. Very hot places getting a heatwave, places where hurricanes happen all the time getting hurricanes, very cold places getting cold spells, droughts in desert regions, usually seem to be the supposed alarm bells. Back in the 90s there was something about bees supposedly going extinct, and nothing came of that.So how much of a problem would it need to be before you think taking corrective action is called for? That wasn't my question. What's your threshold? What level of preventable harm would be enough to actually prevent it?There hasn't really been a significant change anywhere. Yes, I understand your question. But it's basically hypothetical. Because there hasn't been any preventable harm. There's just been minor changes that would have occurred anyways. Name any significant harm that's taken place that could have been prevented, and how it could have been prevented. An actual starting point needs to be established, before a threshold can be determined. That wasn't my question. What's your threshold? What level of preventable harm would be enough to actually prevent it?
