Haulocaust Question

Favoritism will definitely embitter nonbelievers toward God. Besides, it is highly unbiblical (James 2:9, Acts 10:34, Romans 2:11).

How do we show favoritism? By constantly singling out the Holocaust as seemingly the only cruel mass murder in history. Genocide keeps going on in Africa even today, and I don't see the U.S. going to war with Africa to save those people. Even more Russians were dying at the same time the Holocaust occurred--and the U.S. *ALLIED* with Stalin. They even allied against Finland, who was Pearl-Harbor attacked just like us! After the war, Finland had to pay $300,000,000 in reparations to Stalin for defending themselves--with the U.S.' full complicity. Then we turn around and say, "Israel has the right to defend themselves". Apparently, the Gentile lives are not as important in God's eyes.

Then we go on to say that, because of the horrible atrocities of the Holocaust, that we are justified to bulldoze Palestinians' homes (who never had anything to do with the Holocaust) to establish Israel. Did you know Zionist Jews (which, by the way, not all Jews were ever Zionist) were offered part of Uganda to establish a homeland? But no--they absolutely had to flee persecution, TO ISRAEL. Surrounded by Arabs on all sides. And that is somehow better, if fleeing persecution is supposed to be the whole point.

I have no interest in arguing the point. However, European statistics for the 1930's and 40's state that there were not 6 million Jews in all of Europe, let alone Germany. Were Jews rounded up? No question there. So were the Japanese in the USA. Were they they gassed in showers? The evidence is no. If they were then all the German soldiers would have died, too, that were near those showers. Did Jews die in the camps? Absolutely. But they died of starvation due to ally blockades of food to the camps.

War is an atrocity to all. The misery inflicted upon everyone is abominable. But Jews have used the "Holocaust" as a means to deflect any criticism of them and to give themselves special status. Jews were not the only ones in those camps. Homosexuals and gypsies were interned as well.

We all want Jesus to return and many believers have become Christian Zionists. While Jesus spoke to John about Asia Minor at the time Revelations was written, Jesus also speaks from eternity. So his words apply today as well as back then.

Hmmm Looks to me like you're arguing.

I am blessed. I will not curse nor judge Israel. That's above my pay grade.

Keep the context. This is spoken over Abraham, not Israel. That blessing Yahweh spoke of was the Messiah, Y'shua, or Christ Jesus, who was his descendant. That blessing applies to all who put their trust in Jesus, not Jews simply because they are Jews.

There are many people named Jesus. But the reason the "Jews" and State of Israel exists today is because of their hatred of Christ and rejection of him. The biblical Jews all accepted him and remained Israel, AKA Christendom.

My theory is that the Lord holds the Jews up as an example for us all, blessing them when they behave themselves, and withholding his blessing when they don't. I don't know how the holocaust fits into that.

So Israel are His yet.. not following Him. Since Christ left they have made fun, called Him names.. wont even say Yeshua. Were talking Israel. There are wow SO MANY Jewish people not that believe in the Messiah praise GOD GLORY TO JESUS!

We then have the enemy aka Satan. See did not Christ say you will not see me again till you call for me? So the enemy from what I can tell has is trying to wipe them off the face of the earth. Who then will call for Him? To the enemy believing in Christ means nothing. They are His and were picked not because they were great but the least of all nations. Because God picked them.. and He came to them.. Satan has been trying everything to get rid of them. And every person on this planet since we are ALL made in HIS image.

Was the haulocaust in WW2 another one of the punishments? It lead to the revival of Israel. However, I need more information because I’m trying to make sense of this. Unless I know what I’m talking about, I definitely don’t want to start talking about this with people I know (especially non-believers) due to the backlash that could ensue, getting people angry and pulling farther away from God.

I'm just going to answer your question : Was the Holocaust a punishment from God?

No.
It was a satanic plan by Hitler to wipe out the entire race of the Jewish people.
Absolutely horrific beyond words, but would never succeed because God will never allow that of His people.

If you claim that the Holocaust was God's will to punish the Jews for their supposed disobedience, you're wrong. Many good people, indeed many pious and faithful people, perished during the Holocaust. What was their so-called sins that deserved death?

The Christian victims definitely come to mind. Countless clergy, particularly in Poland, were condemned to death. Heck, my own patron saint was martyred by the Nazis for aiding Jews and others.
