From WOF to simplicity

Just to clarify:

Benny wasn't calling down curses on Christians.

He was speaking one of the LORD'S promises about his attackers.

If you aren't one of Benny's attackers, you have nothing to worry about.

The LORD made it clear ONLY people who curse others will be cursed by the LORD.

Stop cursing, speaking evil against, Christians, and you will be safe from any curses, because:

"An undeserved curse does not go forth." - Proverbs 26:2 LEB

IOW, walk the love walk people, and you have nothing to worry about.

Let me be absolutely clear:

Benny Hinn WAS calling down a curse on Christians.

This wasn't the secular media criticising Hinn, it was Christians who opposed Hinn's prosperity gospel.
Hinn is not alone in these types of threats against Christian opposition:

Kenneth Copeland
In a taped message called “Why all are not healed” says:
“Several people that I know had criticized and called that Faith bunch out of Tulsa a cult. And some of ‘em are dead right today in an early grave because of it, and there’s more than one of them got cancer.”


Kenneth Hagin in one of his books says:
“When I left that church I left crying. I told the pastor in the next church where I went to hold a meeting, ‘That man will fall dead in the pulpit.’ And just a very short time after that he did. Why? Because he didn’t accept the message that God gave me to give him from the Holy Spirit.”


Kenneth Hagin:
"If I give you a message for an individual, a church, or a pastor and they don’t accept it, you will not be responsible. They will be responsible. There will be ministers who don’t accept it and will fall dead in the pulpit."



I guess now we know why WoF are so quick to say "touch not thou anointed"; they've been told by WoF leadership that they can be struck dead if they criticise them or don't accept their teachings!

Curses can't fall on me, because:

I love the LORD, I love Benny, and I love you.

Psalm 91 covers me, because I walk in love towards the LORD and people. (1 John 1:6-7, 1 John 2:9-11)

The love I walk in is the LORD'S love, not my own.

I love, because HE first loved me, and the HOLY SPIRIT fills me with HIS LOVE when I spend time worshipping the LORD, and loving HIS words enough to do them. (Romans 5:5, 2 Timothy 1:7)

That could be you.

Are you filled with the LORD?

Are you fellowshipping with HIM?

Those who curse (speak evil against others) are bringing curses down on their own head.

Stop cursing people.

Start loving people.

The LORD will help you if you repent of your wrongdoings.

Are you so consumed with looking for other people's wrongdoing because you have too many of your own?

I don't understand why someone would spend so much time searching the internet for negative nonsense when you could be searching scripture in the LORD'S presence for life and truth.

There's so much to rejoice about in the LORD.

Don't you see anything good anywhere to share with others?

It's about the entire idea. That someone would have it in their heart to curse other Christians. That someone would put into words to curse other Christians. That one would say on a public stage while representing Jesus that he curses Christians. Why he would go on a Christian talk show later and justify his actions of cursing Christians.

I don't think you get it. Each of us represents Jesus and the kingdom of God. Each day, all day, everyday. When one becomes a very public figure in preaching and teaching, people tend to believe blindly that they would not do something unless it is of God. Christians who have a platform can either hurt r help the faith.

Never mind. I see you don't look at it the way I do.

I believe we should all bless each other.

I believe we should all stop speaking against each other.

I believe when we see a brother in sin we should pray to the LORD about them and for them.

I love you and I love Benny.

I see areas that need prayer in both your lives, so I AM PRAYING for you both.

Loving each other and praying for each other is what the LORD wants us to do.

You know the doubt in America is the hold up.

Miracles happen far more to other nations the Word is given to people untainted with doubt.

This is interesting...because America is the birth place and capital of Word of Faith.

This is where EW Kenyon, Kenneth Hagin, Ken Copeland had/have their churches and publish their books. This is where most of the world's WoF churches and WoF believers live. This is the home of Rhema Bible College which trains most of the WoF pastors and leaders. This is where WoF teaching saturates Television 24/7. This is where most of the WoF money comes from.

But somehow, miracles happen far more to other nations!
Perhaps WoF isn't all that effective after all.

Context seems to be something many Christians pay no mind to unfortunately. Many who are against the more lively churches where God moves seem to go to any lengths to tear them apart by taking their words words as well as the word of God out of context.

I'd like to point out there is a difference between cursing someone and speaking out a word of knowledge the Lord gives.

If God shows a person that someone will bring a curse on themselves because of their judgmentalness towards God's spokesperson, it is not the speaker of that word of knowledge who is responsible. God chastises people, it's fact and it's fact seen throughout the word both OT and NT.
