Where does God mention that the earth is orbiting around the sun ?
Where does He say it isnt?
That foundation is it's orbital lock around the sun.Psalm 104:5
Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.
Psalm 104:5
Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.
Waw! That is really twisting scripture!!!
I didn't twist it, these are God's words.
Nope. You interpret it wildly!
How can the earth be orbiting, when according to God's word the earth is immovable ?
Interpretation! You are interpreting scripture to suit your own beliefs!!
God couldn't put it any plainer.
But then you interpret what God has put plainly into how 'YOU' think it should be!
Love God with all your mind. The Great CommandmentI find it amusing how most people get really up in arms about that whole discussion, vehemently defending one side or the other as if their lives were on the line or something, and as if they're all specialists who studied the issue for decades and are 100% sure of their opinion.
I've looked into the subject a lot and I honestly say: I don't know. Really not sure. I've seen good arguments from both sides and no real apodictic proof on either of them.
Christians should strive not to be divided by such issues (Titus 3:9-11).
Genesis 1:16
And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
The funny thing is that some common things that you use every day and take for granted wouldn't work if there was no such thing as space.Sorry - but there's no such thing as space, star trek or star wars, just the heavens.![]()
NASA is asking the public to help identify pulses emitted from gamma rays that could give insight into how the universe formed. The Burst Chaser project has already received 1,700 volunteers.
Maybe your god is, but the God and Father of the Lord Jesus is not FE. FE has more in common with heathen superstition than God's word. So you believe that hills sing and rivers clap their hands? FE belongs in the Science Fiction and fantasy section of the forum. My sentiment exactly, if you don't believe in Gods word then what hope do you have ?
I believe literally every word in the Bible.
God's definitely a Flat Earther![]()
