Liberals are destroying the America I grew up in. Today we can no longer call a pregnant woman a pregnant woman, we have to call her a pregnant person. The liberal political correctness baloney is absurd. PC teaches that an 80 year old Jewish woman in a wheelchair is just as Dangerous as a 20 year old Muslim from The Muslim Brotherhood. We can't say merry Christmas, we have to say happy holidays. ETC. ETC.

Liberals are compassionate to Muslim's because they're deceived by the liberal left, people like Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, all the liberals at CNN, ABC, MSNBC, etc. etc. have done much to promote liberalism and the evils of political correctness.

There is a nihilism apparent in this destruction of all cultural norms that define a culture. If it was simply degree of oppression involved, Jews would be higher on the hierarchy than Muslims, because Jews are much more the victims of hate crimes.
Liberals praising the benefits of the Islamic culture on their apology tours against the West see themselves as nice in treating those who hate America as Satan with kid gloves and sweet platitudes. Really, enabling the enemies of America by letting the MB into the White House reeks of liberal nihilism.

I think the OP question is rooted in a misunderstanding: a lot of people are not supporting Islam. They just don't support the vilification of Islam, greater than any other non-Christian religion.
