The Picture of Dorian Gray, and of the Little House on the Prairie series, Cloud Atlas, The Princess Bride, Marley & Me, those are the ones that immediately come to mind and I love them all!

The Giver by Lois Lowry. I read it for the first time in jr. high for English class and I've loved it ever since.
