We can only know the truth, when we have the Holy Spirit of Truth. There is a difference between the Holy Spirit coming upon people and being Filled with the Holy Spirit.

Sin & Sickness... There is a passage in the Bible, that ever sense I first read it, I have considered it to be a VERY important passage in terms of WHY people get sick. It can be found in 1 Corinthians 11:23-34... For this reason MANY are weak and sick among you, and MANY sleep... The reason this scripture caught my attention is the word MANY... Clearly we are told that many here refers to more than half the people. It refers to the majority of people and not the minority.
Over the last 20 years, I have talked to quite a few pastors about this passage... In the most simple of terms, this passage means that we are to be delivered from Sin."

I am amazed that I run into doctors and Phd's that do not even have a third grade level of understanding of the Bible."

Ex 15:26... 'If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God... I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.' My sister told me about a book written by a medical doctor called something like: 'none of these diseases'. He talks about Moses and a Bible approach to staying healthy."

They tell me that One Drop of the Divine Blood of Jesus is all that it would take to cure all of the sickness in this world."

"There are a few studies that come to mind. One had to do with high blood preassure. There was no preferance for Christians over other religions, but in general, they more someone attended church, the more they read their Bible and prayed, the lower their blood preasure was... But the results [of another study] showed that selfish people have more health problems and they die sooner than people who do what they can to help others.
In general the studies have found that calling yourself a christian does not seem to make any difference. But doing things that would be considered christian, does seem to make a difference."
