Delusion will increase, failure will continue

Hi there,

So, just to help you make sense of the current Age (Age of the Grace of Truth / Age of Time - A perfect Age) and where we are right now (obviously, for my own benefit as much as anyone, to begin with) let me make a couple of prophetic observations, mainly about the nature of man.

Man is deluded.

We know that, but there is something strange about this fact that may surprise you. Contrary to what you might think, if man "knows" he is deluded, his delusion actually increases. This is because his initial delusion, magnified by the lens through which he evalutates all knowledge - himself and his own brain (in love together) - actually suggests to him that the solution to delusion is more delusion. After all, if you can't beat them, join them, right? Wrong. Adding to delusion does not cure it, but even if you are a smart sinner, this argument alone will not convince you - hence the delusion stays, and gets greater. This is further reinforced by the fact that returning to delusion, after attempting to add to it and failing, has the same effect as increasing it (since the carry over effect of trying to add to it, makes it worse in the meantime).

Man fails.

Without God, we really cannot expect much from Man (we should not try). The thing is, with all the talk of progress, there is always a glimmer of hope that Man will change his ways. This is because "progress" ultimately comes from the Lord, though He does not reveal Himself to be its root, for our sakes (if He did reveal it and the world perceived Him to be vulnerable or lacking credibility for some unknown reason, we would have no hope to defend us against their lawless violence, but there is no chance that just saying Jesus is the cause will convince anyone but the lost who know it by faith). This means that Man will continue to evaluate other men against "his" works and fail or cause to fail anything that shines light on his own vulnerability or perceived lack of credibility or which simply fails to be as "great" as he is (which is a lot - a lot that fails and a lot of "greatness" - do not be mistaken, for it is the Lord who creates it all). The sheer volume of failure that this entails means that man who is deluded, will never see clear of it enough not to rely on failure to complete his "work".

Man denies God.

You might be thinking at this stage, "is this guy saying every obvious thing he can think of?" but hear me out, what I am trying to do is establish a trend so that you can ready your heart and turn to those scriptures that will most prepare you for the persecution you will face. Man denying God means that there will always be work. This is important because we are about to face a time in which work is not certain. A global economy will be emerging shortly, based on work that keeps the economy going in perpetual motion and it will take time to stabilize the preparedness of investors to operate in this environment. But the Lord is faithful, even in times of depression, which always come and go, we must remember that the Lord has work for us. It should be a comfort to us therefore, that there will always be work, for we are not slack as men consider slackness (referring to Paul's words there). See if you can see the connection: if Man denies God, there is something he is not doing. Do you see?

Well, I have gone on at length now and I will not kid you, it is tiring, but I think in the end, well worth it. We should learn in the process that there is a definite path to predicting trends, about the fate of mankind, whom Jesus loves. First, you make an observation about what God says he can do. Second, you make an extrapolation from that about what Man cannot do (because of the Devil). Third you make an inference about what Man will not do, based on what he cannot do. From these three things we know there is something that putting God first enables us to do and gives us the time to do it. The consequences are a function of what we can do.

May you do all that you set out to do, in Jesus' Name.:liturgy:

A global economy will be emerging shortly, based on work that keeps the economy going in perpetual motion and it will take time to stabilize the preparedness of investors to operate in this environment. But the Lord is faithful, even in times of depression, which always come and go, we must remember that the Lord has work for us.

You know what is also nice to remember when considering going into the vision of wicked men to have a global economy, is that this never will last very long. You know there are a lot of conspiracy theorists out there that go on and on about how the globalists are planning this and that and this and that. But, in reality, these things never get very far. Scripture shows they get as far as implementing a mark in order to buy or sell and the plug will be pulled (revelation 13:16).

Scripture also says that there will be eating and drinking when he comes again (Matthew 24:38), which means the world might not get much worse than we are seeing now because God is gracious.

Now, what I want to know is if there is any connection between the seven years of famine from the story of Joseph interpreting the dream for Pharoah (Genesis 41) and the 7-year tribulation; and if so, then there should be a pre 7-year time of plenty with which to stock up.

This was how Israel survived by going down into Egypt and using what was stored up for the coming famine. Maybe there is a similar way to survive the tribulation. Blessings to everyone.

A global economy localised to Israel. Sure, why not?

There is not enough information in what you said.

Yes, there will be a global economy, that doesn't not mean that every nation will enforce participation in that economy with the mark.

That is a mistake believers all too often make.

For one thing, in some countries it would be logistical nightmare alone, for another thing, countries in which there is little pressure (in the form of terrorism for example) do not need the managerial overhead that it would entail. For perhaps the most important thing, most people would object to being tracked, unless perhaps they had faith and the belief that the security of the nation required it. That last thing is basically unique to Israel.

One man's delusion is no indication, of a nation's greater peversion.
