What happened to the Father and the Holy Spirit? Was this all Jesus' idea and work, or did the Father "so love the world that He gave His...Son"? And was Jesus just kidding about the whole comforter thing?

What ever happened to the Holy Trinity? Now days it seems to be all about Jesus and Jesus alone.

There is only one God and He is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. He is triune - three/one. He is Jesus. He is Adonai. He is El Shaddai. He is I Am. He is Emmanuel. He is Elohim.
He is Yahweh. He is Abba. He is Wonderful. He is much more. He Is.
The "other comforter" is the Spirit of reality, the Spirit of Life, the Holy Spirit.

The Father and Holy Spirit didn't die on the Cross. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. The Father planned it, the Son carried it out and the Holy Spirit reveals it. You are indwelt by the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the mentor and helper. He is our seal to the day of the redemption of our bodies. He writes the Word on our heart/soul. Christ prayed to the Father. He offered himself up by the power of the Holy Spirit. We have been given the same power to live and walk in Christ. Christ indwells us for fellowship. We are to make our souls/hearts a place where he feels at home. No man has seen the Father at any time. If you have seen the Son you have seen the Father. Blessed is he that believes without seeing. We live in a time of walking by faith and not by sight.

We're human. We make mistakes... frequently. We as people put more attention to Jesus because He's the one who died so that we may be forgiven.
Really, they are all equally important and existent, and they should be honored as such.

Maybe that's why we say, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.;)

Exactly. It all corellates with the original sin in the Garden of Eden. Adam was commanded to eat of every tree especially the Tree of Life. Instead Adam male and female went straight to the Tree of Knowledge (Father) and completely avoided the Tree of Life (Son-Jesus).

Likewise folks today attempt to pray and have a relationship with the Father all the while avoiding the Tree of Life -- His Son Jesus.
