Name the countries with high per cent of atheists .

This should help explain the correlation between crime rates and religion/atheism.

Citing four different studies, Zuckerman states: "Murder rates are actually lower in more secular nations and higher in more religious nations where belief in God is widespread." He also states: "Of the top 50 safest cities in the world, nearly all are in relatively non-religious countries."

Within the United States, we see the same pattern. Citing census data, he writes: "And within America, the states with the highest murder rates tend to be the highly religious, such as Louisiana and Alabama, but the states with the lowest murder rates tend to be the among the least religious in the country, such as Vermont and Oregon."

And these findings are not limited to murder rates, as rates of all violent crime tend to be higher in "religious" states. Zuckerman also points out that atheists are very much under-represented in the American prison population (only 0.2%)

Everyone tells me different things about my views and I don't know who to believe. My whole life I just wanted to be beautiful and have a privileged life. I am ugly and my life is a nightmare.
You only have to be beautiful to one person. My wife wouldn't win a beauty context especially now we are get older but she is beautiful to me in that I wouldn't want to be married to anyone else. You can be "ugly" by Hollywood standards and still enjoy life to the fullest.
If I can't have that, then I dont want anything at all. But the Bible says if you accept Jesus forgiveness for your sins you go to heaven. Heaven is boring and unappealing.
"Boring" is one of the byproducts of our sinful nature. "Boring" is the result of our eyes are never satisfied. They will continually want more and more. For example, When I was a child I thought playing with cars was fun but now I find that extremely boring. It's not the cars that changed but my outlook. Heaven is not meant to a be place where we are forever trying to find satisfaction in our flesh but finally enter into the rest.

I think its like being in church all the time, to be honest I don't really want to worship God, I'll do it but I am more concerned with enjoying my life and religion was a consolation prize that I never really wanted. I think the real life is here and now and its what I truly want. I couldn't have it so I settled for some religious paradise. I am technically a Christian but I don't have the same happy joy joy feelings that other Christians have. I don't know who or were to talk about how I feel because it is pretty strange. Would a person like me go to heaven or hell?
This is the difference between being a child and being a man or woman. When I was a child I just want to have fun which is why I hate any kind of work but fun is often empty or as Solomon wrote "vanity" but now that I'm older I've learn that what is not so fun at first can be extremely rewarding later on. (You reap what you sow.) I go to work not because I love getting up in the morning to go to work but I find deep satisfaction in supporting my home. That is instead looking to satisfy my own lust I look to satisfy others (my God, wife and children).

Albert Einstein ,"there are yes, people who say there is no God .But what really makes me angry, is that they quote me for the support of such views ."

Einstein left the door open to a universal non personal God. He thought belief in personal Gods, was childish.

Since He didn't believe in being a father to his own children then of course he wouldn't believe in a loving heavenly Father.

You have no idea what is in store for you. The entire universe will be at your doorstep. You will travel anywhere you wish, to any planet..........planets where there are still dinosaurs and a multitude of life. There will be no boredom in anything, whether it is the food you eat or what you choose to do and how you choose to do it. Music, art, crafts, the technological advances you will employ in anything you wish to do will astound! You will never tire of that which you desire no matter what avenue that leads you. You came from that existence and to that you will return. There will be no aging, Beauty is in abundance, no disease, no discontentment , no frailties, no deformities, no physical or mental strife whatsoever. The best part: everyone you meet or pass by or greet or run into, will be those filled with love for you and you for them, for you as well as they are begotten of God Himself and as He loves you, so shall His begotten love you and you them in the same light. You will not be alone dear one and you shall never know pain again. You are a child of God, you are beautiful, and you are cherished. Let me add too, that I love you and always will. You and I will see each other soon, I promise.

Violent crime is more prevalent in US states with more religious people, and less prevalent in states with fewer religious people.

So, not irrelevant at all...

Indeed, not relevant. China under Mao also had 0% crime rate.
Again, it is very easy to do.

Who said anything about killing spree? Those are stupid acts.
Of course, a perfect murder would be included.
I don't need any more help. I already have the perfect help. I am just responded to an atheist's mentality, which is: do what you want to do, and do it to your best.
So you're just assuming atheists don't have morals? We get the same morals from.our society as you do, if you need a god to threaten you to be a good person and be a moral being then you are neither of those. We act and think like everyone else, but we are.good persons (i'm not saying that there aren't evil atheists, i'm sure there are) because we have our own judgment and principles, not drives by the fear of hell or some random deity we've brought up to believe in

In Heaven, you receive the beatific vision of God and transcend everything that might comfort you here on Earth. Why do you think Satan, as a prime example, isn't doing as we do? He's spent the past thousands of years not doing anything we do because he once had that enlightenment and place in Heaven.
Once you go there, nothing here has value.

I believe the earth and its carnal pleasures will pale in comparision to heaven.

Heaven in my limited descriptive abilities is about being reunited with the Lord, with family and friends, sights and wonders, and answers.

Of course atheists can have morals. And commendable ones too.

If it werent for worldly minded action, then much or all of our technology wuold not even exist.

One of the problems you have though, is that for so many decades now, many atheists have apparently regarded morality as unscientific nonsense. And there are still people who will fight that position tooth and nail. And they arent regarded as "evil" inthe traditional sense, like murderers etc, no they are refined intellectuals.

They will attack all talk of "a future state" (ie heaven and hell) in the name of epistemic virtue (*smiles, mentioning no names), and then pop up in another thread and say theres no basis for the concept of moral virtue, as if the two can be divorced.

And the fact that this is a particularly English attitude, well its like Henry the 8th at Heythrop College ( i.e. a famous 'divorce monger' lecturing at the renowned Catholic centre for the study of philosophy and ethics).

Atheist can not define what moral is. They do things according to their own standard, which is different from person to person. When one faces to an atheist, one would never know if anything is moral to him or not.

If that's really the thing you want to do, i mean you would be a terrible person if you ask me, and you'll waste your life for something as pointless as being evil for the sake of evilness. But also bear.in mind that if you have principles and a certain amount of morals (i mean the basic ones from our society like not killing people lol) you'll probably feel guilty and if your crime turns out to be a not-so-perfect one you'll end up in jail. I don't see why you wouldn't dedicate your life to that, and i don't support it nor understand, i think it's awful but nothing is stopping you

I must ask you why you think the idea of a perfect crime is "evil". What makes it so? For instance if i embezzled sufficient money to live my life in absolute luxury from a huge corporation without anyone noticing I would consider that the perfect crime. What is there about that scenario that you would consider evil ?

I am wondering the following: Do you feel that your God forbids that without there being a rational reason for it, arbitrarily?
Or why is it you must ask an atheist to explain it to you?
