Why do people name themselves 'Christians' when they don't even know what it entails?

Being forgiven is one thing, but the WHOLE WORLD lies forgiven according to the Word of God in Scripture!

In order to become a Christian, we must invite Jesus into our hearts!

Who are you to say who is or is not a Christian? The sheer fact that you think that you should be able to judge others in that way just goes to prove how little of the Bible you've actually read.

Because you never answered the question. And when faced with Scripture that indeed show that to RECEIVE Him is to receive Eternal Life you were still left clueless.

I'm pretty much indifferent to babies, but then again, I've never had to look after one. The idea of looking after someone else's children isn't something that appeals to me and I could definitely see my indifference turning into loathing if someone lumbered me with their kid to look after! I guess some people get a kick out of looking after the helpless and some are just more maternal than others.

No.

The only problem - in the big picture, that is - is that people need to be babies in order to become adults.

Those who profess Christ, and have yet steadfastly agrued with the Word of the Lord in the Scripture verse I quoted in this thread. Either saying they were unaware or ignorant and accusing me of mischief! These are the TRUE babies! And God Loves them still!

I'll be dropping out of the discussion for just a little bit. I'm going to some pet stores and the animal shelter to see if I can find a baby guinea pig. One of mine just died yesterday, and his cagemate is lonely. But I'll be back later for frolic and fun.

I definitely have the opposite. When a baby starts squirming around a lot, or crying, or a combination of the two, it makes me angry. I get a huge urge to strike, shake, or otherwise harm the child. I've actually raised my hand to strike on many occasions or started to squeeze around their ribs without even realizing it, and then caught myself before I did anything.

You should tell this to any doctors who say "wait to you're older" when you ask for tubal ligation.

I've had a ton of pets over the years, so I learned to deal with death when I was still really young. I was absolutely crushed back in the day when my first goldfish died, but I've gotten a lot better since then.

I should, but I don't want them to throw me in the loony bin.

I really don't know why I have that reaction, because it's a rather extreme reaction, but it's the one I've always had.
