I'm on the west side..Where abouts are you talking? I know our area isnt the best and we actually thought the new developments we moved into would make the neighborhood better, but so far, no luck.

I assume she's talking about the Maryvale area which has always been a questionable area. Thats' just my guess. I think the new stuff will help. It takes time but the west side will be the place to be.....

Glad to hear your getting better. I think something is going around the valley. My whole family was down last week. From a bad cough to some 24 hour thing.
Now its just allergies

I was born and raised in the AZ desert. I’m in a state of awe about the growth of the valley. I guess I can understand, b/c this is a beautiful state. Personally, I’m burned out on the desert. My desire is to live in a beach community. Of course, the cost of living is a huge consideration. You can buy a nice home here and still afford to live. I’m sure that will change as the cost of living seems to be spiraling out of control and some incomes seem to be stag net. If I had to stay in AZ no matter what, I would want to live in Flagstaff. The beauty there is beyond what my words could describe!

Yep its gettin hot alright! I've gotta say though, I'm very happy not be pregnant in the summer this year, I was last summer and was miserable, from the heat!

Me too! I'm in Phoenix, an actual native,if you can believe that! So, Allieisme, how old is your little one? Mine will be a year on June 9th.

She is going to be a year Aug 26! I cannot believe it, its gone by so fast, and I have a 3 1/2 and 5 1/2- which she will be going into kindergarten this year!
/me wonders why time didn't fly by when she was in school!

No kidding, time did seem to go slow growing up! I have a boy starting kindergarten as well this fall. He will be 5 in July. He's been in preschool since he was 3, but touring his kindergarten class brought tears to my eyes. I can't believe he's not a baby anymore! I think I would really be bothered by it if I didn't have another one so young.....now what am I going to do in 4 years....wait, I know! get my life back!!!!!

MY Husband and my Son are going to that Realmen Ministires conference at our church on Memorial Weekend, I can hardly wait to see what they get out of it. I know at the end of it they get awarded a sword. I guess the speakers are supposed to be pretty awesome...
