The medical ethics of ignoring childhood diseases if they're not 100% guaranteed to be fatal? No, I wouldn't be a big fan of that. I figure that if we have safe and effective ways to prevent kids from getting sick we should take advantage of them.
The cartoon below illustrates what the 'vaccinate everyone' advocates want. They think that small children should be used as a human shield to protect adults. If it were not true, then they would not be pushing for children, who have a statistically insignificant risk of dying from covid, to be vaccinated to protect adults. And vaccinating children to protect adults is what you suggested should be done (my emphasis):

Oh well, if kids aren't literally dying in the street there's no point in doing anything at all. Might as well just give up. No point in trying to reduce case loads, keep it from being spread to teachers and student's families, no point at all. None of those experts (the ones who collect the mortality data) have even remotely thought this through, obviously.

Which is also not true. Vaccinated people have been hospitalized, on IC units and dying.

All the main political leaders in the world were selling various untruths and half truths mixed with some scientific truths here or there, to public.

The separation of society is their fault. If they were telling the hard truths (or simply saying "we do not know yet") instead of chasing political points, it would be much better from the beginning.
If they would have done that, they would have been voted out in favor of more mealy mouthed liars.

They do? Who are these people who are ignoring that vaccination also helps prevent covid in children? And why are they ignoring the scientific data? Let's see some quotes - I'd be curious to know where their misunderstanding is coming from.

So let me see. Either you are wrong or every single government of whatever political view in every state and country on the whole planet has been involved in some conspiracy to lie to their citizens.

Hmmm. Let me think about that.

Its absurd to apply mathematical logic to commonly used language. You just want to argue (about nothing, really).

Didn't you refer to all governments everywhere? Was that just hyperbole? In which case my point stands. And it wasn't an argument. I was simply pointing out that you'd made a nonsensical comment.

Not being vaccinated has killed millions worldwide, and hundreds of thousands of Americans ...
No, that is a false assertion.

A VIRUS (possibly lab-leaked) has killed susceptible people worldwide as well as Americans. In America, 3/4 have been elderly and with co-morbidities, making them more vulnerable.

In 2021, ... when most of the elderly had been vaccinated, ... 385,443 Americans still died from COVID.

Of those, 4% ... or 15,418, ... were vaccinated.

Hundreds of thousands of Americans died in 2021 ... because they opted to not be vaccinated.

P.S. 60% of adult Americans have comorbidities. It's pretty common ...

They died for many reasons, mostly because of co-morbidities which rendered them far more susceptible. The focus should be on maintaining health all the time- not vaccines.

Every good doctor told his patient to increase his vitamin D level exponentially during the pandemic. Every bad one gave no advice but merely said "get the shot".

Try not to move this into conspiracy forum territory, especially when that has no bearing on the topic.

Why shouldn't there be a focus on vaccines, given they do a terrific job of reducing the risk of death vs. people who choose to remain unvaccinated?

I doubt that's true.

Currently, children aren't much at risk from COVID, though Omicron has been more infectious for them. However, the proclivity of the virus to mutate (possibly to a variant which is more dangerous for children) always exists as long as the virus has an unprotected segment of the population to infect.

It is in everyone's best interest (including children's) to deny the virus a population in which to reproduce and, possibly, mutate ...

Americans are co-morbidity central. It is not a particularly good strategy to embark upon a national program of good health (which would take years to accomplish, at best), ... rather than to combat the virus with a much more immediate solution ... especially as the virus infects and kills in a shockingly short window of time ...

Joe Biden said that vaccinated people will not get infected with covid
.....
Or was Joe Biden just making stuff up?
.....
Joe Biden has been pushing vaccine misinformation

Notice how anti-vaxxers are now desperately trying to make the vaccine all about Joe Biden, because it doesn't suit the narrative that the vaccines were researched, developed and commenced their rollout under Trump (who is vaccinated)

Also, be careful of posts pushing a narrative which confuses pre-existing consitions with additional things listed on covid patients' death certificates. The former are things things like obesity and diabetes (which granted, do put people at higher risk), the latter are acute conditions that cause death from covid like pneumonia or respiratory failure. Confusing the former with the latter is a common strategy for pro-covid posts to try and downplay how much of a risk the disease poses by pretending that everyone who died from covid already had one foot in the grave.

Anyone can contract or transmit the virus, if infected, status irrespective.

No argument on your first sentence. We need to change a LOT of habits in the states. However, had we been doing this all along instead of handing out pharmaceuticals for every symptom and then more pharmaceuticals for the side effects cause by the first one, and so on, ad infinitum, we would be much further down the path than we are now. We also sell foods and chemicals in the states with ingredients that aren't even permitted elsewhere, due to their bad effects.

It's drifting into the realm of conspiracy theory.

Bill Gates is just a philanthropist, he doesn't design pharmaceuticals, or even pandemic responses. All he did was sound the alarm years before a pandemic happened.

Just like anyone, drunk or sober, can get into accidents if they drive, status irrespective.

Doesn't mean that one group isn't a lot more dangerous to others.
