Australians could require four or five jabs to be considered ‘up to date’

What triggered that outburst?

That would be who, not what. And that would be you, constantly posting and linking to nonsensical information which you have spend zero time checking for veracity. Anything and everything that you think supports your views, such as they are, is plastered all over any given thread wherever it comes from and whoever has supplied it. And it is all, without fail, wrong.

And I really don't know which would be more depressing. That you either don't know. Or you don't care.

Asks the guy with the daffy duck avatar. Like daffy duck it is just exasperating. Not being in the US I dont follow the CDC yet it took me all of 3 minutes to source the two images in that fraudulent twitter nonsense. If critical thinking had a scale from 1 (easy) to 10 (hard) this example rates a 0

That's great. An admission that they changed the yard stick for measuring covid risk.

It's a flat out declaration, not an "admission". There's a huge difference. They devoted an entire web page to explaining it.

That's like shortening the length of an athletics track, and then claiming that almost every record got broken.

It's not even remotely like that. It is a little bit like changing the rules of a particular athletic event, letting everyone know the rules have been changed, and understanding that this is open clearly transparent change and not some sneaky thing they got caught out with, and that future records may not be comparable to past.

That sounds a bit anti-duck and duckist to me. It's concerning to see duckism being openly expressed on this forum.

Knowing full well that most people probably won't read it and spot the fraud of changing the yard stick. Most people will just hear the local news saying that 'covid risk' has plummeted in their area, and think 'great, covid is being defeated', without realising that the yard stick changed.

However, those with a healthy level of scepticism know what's probably going on here. Joe Biden's polling figures are underwater, and there is now full on panic in the Democratic Party at the rapidly approaching mid-terms. The thought of a Republican landslide, and investigation into all things covid related, is filling them with terror. Now they are manipulating the covid metrics to try and salvage their polling figures. I hope the Democratic Party gets absolutely crushed in November, and all the covid fraud is exposed.

It's also worth noting that changing the yard stick and moving the goal posts has been a common theme of the covid pandemic. Certainly here in the UK, the government has used those kinds of dishonest and fraudulent tactics. And the MSM has done the same, for example, continually changing focus between infections, hospitalisations, and deaths, depending on which metric can be used to create the most fear.

Well, I think we can agree that the problem with changing the yard stick, is that the comparison with older records is instantly rendered null and void. But as I explained above, there are political reasons why it is important to make it look as if covid has been defeated.

And unfortunately when politics gets involved in science, the outcome is always the same. The political tail starts wagging the scientific dog. For example, a covid modeller admitted that they were only modelling worst case scenarios, because that is what had been asked for.

That's just your unevidenced opinion. Also, not fraud, no matter how much you wish it was.

There is nothing healthy about the conspiracy laden glue you pour into perceived cracks in the narrative.

You didn't explain anything. You made up some stuff and posted it here.

This pretty much sums up your position. When the data shows things are bad (which they were): 'It's a lie. It's a political move. They're trying to scare us!' And when the data shows things are improving (which they are): 'It's a lie. It's a political move. They want us to vote for them'.

It's so transparent.
