Vice President Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign is requiring its employees to be “up to date” on COVID-19 vaccines, according to a job listing from the campaign, which is searching for National Booker.

The Harris campaign has a job listing for a “National Booker,” tasked with working “with the Surrogates Communications Director and Deputy Communications Director to execute Harris for President’s strategy for deploying surrogates and allies across national and regional media outlets.” According to the listing, the National Booker is also tasked with managing daily reservations with media bookers and “developing strategies to increase the visibility of campaign spokespeople and surrogates across TV networks, radio, digital streaming programs, podcasts, and more.”

Required skills and qualifications for the job are fairly run-of-the-mill: three to five years of experience in media or communications, a strong interest in media or politics, good instincts, and the ability to thrive in a “fast-paced environment.”

However, in the fine print at the bottom of the listing, the campaign makes it clear that it also expects the would-be employee to be completely caught up on his or her coronavirus vaccinations.

The requirement reads:

Harris for President requires all employees to be “up to date” on COVID-19 vaccination status as prescribed by the CDC as a condition of employment, unless otherwise prohibited by applicable law. If you seek a reasonable accommodation in relation to the campaign’s COVID-19 policy, you should speak to the HR Department prior to reporting to an office location.
It remains unclear what the campaign considers a “reasonable accommodation” to sidestep the coronavirus vaccination rules, such as concerns over adverse effects.

This is more evidence that the leaders of the Democratic Party have been bought out by the Big Pharma corporations which produce those vaccines.

The new COVID shot is a combination COVID shot.

I was required by my job to get vaccines for years. I was glad to get it conveniently, and do not consider it unreasonable in the least to get one.

Seeing as I just had a family member die from COVID yesterday, it seems prudent to prevent exposing one of the most powerful people in the world to the illness when a simple vaccine mitigates the risks significantly.

For myself, I got three vaccines, and do not need a fourth, cos I am a healthy man, and do not need > 4 vaccinations. When I had corona in 2022, it was mild, cos the vaccinations + my strong immune system helped.

Yes, I support optional/voluntary vaccinations (not a mandatory requirement though), but forcing a yearly requirement is messed up. Those extra yearly COVID vaccines should be shipped off to poorer continents such as Africa, as Sub-Saharan countries need free vaccines instead of North Americans. In other words, this move by Kamala is overkill. Just imagine, if everyone did not get a fourth booster, that could be millions of vaccines shipped off to the Congo instead.

As of 2023, the Sub-Saharan region is one of the lowest vaccinated regions of the world. They need it more than us.

The campaign in question is for liberal candidates. I would think that anyone who wanted to work for that campaign is liberal. Most liberals had/have no problem with being vaccinated to help protect their own health and that of others. So I don't see how the Harris campaign's rules are a problem for those interested in the job.

Covid is pretty rampant right now so not a bad idea to protect the vulnerable.

According to the Worldometer that monitors it, it's practically nonexistent compared to what it was in 2022. There were 57 Covid related deaths in the entire world yesterday. In the US there were 1,151 new cases with 7 deaths yesterday and 9 deaths the day before yesterday.

Her campaign; her business. If she wants to require it, so be it.

CO-vid will not go away at any point.
That's right; it won't. What we have seen is that it's become not as deadly. It can still be deadly, but, then again, I knew someone years younger who was in good health yet died from influenza.

I prayed for your friend that passed away from influenza, that he/she is in a better place. That is why I will always wear a mask when I am sick, or if I am with others who have immune system deficiencies or in airplanes and airports.

It's all for health reasons I never took a single one of those "vaccines".
A friend of mine took a 2-shot "vaccine" years ago and now has to spend the rest of his life on blood thinners. I don't know if the "vaccine" did it, but people have developed blood clotting disorders after getting them. Some have developed other complications. Some are dead.
People should be not be obligated to introduce this stuff into their systems.

You are probably right about that.

But her vaccine beliefs could be a problem for the rest of us Americans, if she takes over the presidential throne.
