I have walked the face of the earth for nearly half a century now. There have been more than 2,000 years since Jesus lived and at least 6,000 years of recorded human history.
We have witnessed wars and rumors of wars, political turmoil and kingdoms overthrown by one another, countless scores of natural disasters, famines, draughts, earthquakes, tsunamis. We've seen economic crisis, dictatorships all over the world, the rise and fall of systems and various religions. As Solomon once wrote: "There is nothing new under the sun"
So should we think that the things we see happening around today --- politically, scientifically, spiritually, morally, economically ---- are somewhat random and unconnected events. Or are they signs of something greater, something historically significant that may be about to take place before our eyes?
