They were born again in Christ Spiritually AFTER Cain killed Abel. Genesis 5:1-2 Scripture says "created" in God's Image by God/Trinity. Adam was "formed" by Lord God/Jesus on the 3rd Day Gen 2:7 but he was "created" by the Trinity on the 6th Day. Gen 1:27 and Gen 5:1-2 The ONLY way this could happen is IF today remains the 6th Day. Adam was FIRST made perfect in the likeness of Jesus, which is the Light. AFTER he disobeyed, he was found in a body of FLESH Gen 3:7 which was subject to death. Adam's perfect body was made from the ground but he was NOT born Spiritually. Like all men, Adam had to be born again Spiritually and he was AFTER Cain killed Abel. Adam lived for 930 years AFTER he was created in God's Image which is Spiritually in Christ.

Co 15:46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

*** The" image of God' seems to speak of more to the notion that Adam was righteous and holy (without sin).

Jesus is the ONLY Image of the invisible Spirit of God. Col 1:15 Adam, like all men, had a choice to believe in Jesus or not. Those who believe are born again
in Christ. The ONLY thing Holy about Adam was the Holy Spirit inside him.

Read the end of Gen 4 and see that Seth was given to A&E to replace Abel whom Cain slew BEFORE Adam was created in Christ. Then the lineage of the living begins Adam, Seth, etc.

*** Also, we do not know what kind of boy God will give us. According to I Corinthians 15:35-53 we will all be changed...the physical does not inherit eternal life. We will be resurrected (those dead) and then all will be changed into a spiritual body.

Amen, for we will regain our perfect bodies which Adam lost when he disobeyed. Humans were made to have dominion or rule over every other living creature FOREVER and we will when we receive our perfect bodies for we will be like Jesus. 1Jo 3:2

I'm speaking of the original gospel of Jesus that he practiced and preached, the gospel he had hoped his Jewish brethren would carry to all the world.

"And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people."

You are speaking of the Gospel which the Jewish people rejected when they crucified Christ. Many STILL teach this Gospel which says to believe, be baptized and walk in newness of life. That is NOT the Gospel of Jesus Christ since His Gospel was given to Paul in Heaven l Cor 15:1-4 by Jesus, Himself. The Kingdom did not come because Jesus was rejected and Crucified by His own. That is WHY we have a New Testament. Amen?

You are making some very huge misinterpretations in your reading. When one reads Scripture it is best to begin as a beginner should and read literal to get the overall understanding. Somethings are so obviously symbolic that it's hard to miss. Read again and do more noticing of the symbolic...the Holy Spirit will bless that effort I believe and teach you.

You are confusing the first man Adam was formed of the dust and then God breathed into him the breath of life...that is to say Adam was given a spirit/soul. That's all I can imagine you are getting your theory from. If it is Genesis 5:1-2 that you are forming all this theory off of I sadly say you are quite confused yet. Humble yourself and read for understanding from God and pray over it as you read. Don't rush into a new theory.

After the cross the original gospel OF Jesus changed. Christianity became a gospel ABOUT Jesus. But you get it, you can see it, you are honest about it rather than pretending there is some seamless transition.

After the cross the original gospel OF Jesus changed. Christianity became a gospel ABOUT Jesus. His commission was to spread the ----->original gospel, there was nothing wrong with it. Jesus spent 3+ years teaching and Living it. If the Jews had accepted it then they would be teaching The Gospel of The Kingdom of Heaven today from Jerusalem.

But in the excitement of the resurrection the disciples didn't remain true to the original gospel, their own human speculation entered the equation. Then came the first great, persuasive, charismatic leader who never was even taught by Jesus in the flesh, Saul-Paul. He brought his on religious baggage into the new religion of Christianity. He made compromises for the sake of numbers, his version of the religion ABOUT Jesus was more appealing to the Pagan world because it was very familiar to things they already believed.

Eventually the original gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven which now slumbers inside of Christianity will AGAIN be proclaimed to the world. The original gospel of Christ will eventually subdue the heart and then the nations.
