And I answered. If it cannot be backed in scripture it cannot be true. You answered telling there wasn't much on the matter in scripture. We'll leave it there. We were talking about the next life in heaven where we will continue in spiritual growth.
Old Testament "thinkers" were waiting for THE PROMISEThe Old Testament thinkers were unable to think outside of their scripture box. A Jewish family wherin one member became a follower of Jesus would become divided by the sword of truth.
Before Moses wrote the first scripture, there was plenty that was true that wasn't in the scripture. Before the Gospels were written, there was plenty more that was true that wasn't in the scripture. 50 years after Jesus left, more truth was given to John in a vision on Patmos. In 1955 the 5th epochal revelation was given in America. For the open minded and the willing there will always be work to be done and more growth in spirit. That's just common sense. And I answered. Scripture...test all things...
The Gentile and Pagan world adopted a variation of the Gospel message. The Jews outright reject it! Part of the reason for that is they took their biased human scriptures too seriously, developing erroneous expectations of a Jewish Messiah that would come and take up David's exaggerated, corrupt thrown and rule as King of the Jews.Old Testament "thinkers" were waiting for THE PROMISE
1 Peter 1 should clarify to you what the prophets pointed to but could not fully comprehend
The Old Testament "thinkers" know now what they did not fully know then
(That is, those who are now present with THE LORD)
Do you agree with revelation 22's directive not to add to or take away from GOD's WORD?Before Moses wrote the first scripture, there was plenty that was true that wasn't in the scripture. Tell me, when THE SPIRIT of CHRIST was in the prophets testifying to the MESSIAH, and the sufferings and the glory which would come, what was this "other gospel message"The Gentile and Pagan world adopted a variation of the Gospel message. No! The Book of Revelation was the last and most controversial book added to the cannon. Some church leaders accepted Johns Apocalypse while others did not. Cyril of Jerusalem (348 AD) does not name it among the canonical books but Athanasius (367 AD) listed the Book of Revelation as a Canonical book.Do you agree with revelation 22's directive not to add to or take away from GOD's WORD?
If Adam had been a monkey he would have been more perfect because he would have done what monkeys were originally designed to doSeems sometimes as if the only goal which some responders have when talking about Adam is to prove that the was a monkey.

Jesus has been forced into many OT writings by converted Jews who were trying to justify their faith in him and their conversion to his movement. Between Gods very real agreement with Abraham and the arrival of Jesus, a great deal of human speculation and cultural egotism influenced the editing and writing of the OT books.Tell me, when THE SPIRIT of CHRIST was in the prophets testifying to the MESSIAH, and the sufferings and the glory which would come, what was this "other gospel message"
THE PROMISE was not recognized until CHRIST was crucified, resurrected, and ascended
That and only after that was THE PROMISE recognized
Colter, please forgive me, but I am not interested in discussing with you "yeast" which has been added to HIS WORDNo! Deuteronomy 4 2 said: 1“Now, O Israel, listen to the statutes and the judgments which I am teaching you to perform, so that you may live and go in and take possession of the land which the LORD, the God of your fathers, is giving you. 2“You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, nor take away from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
Much more was added and much more will be added. Christ isn't finished.

David's greatness was an afterthought on the part of the priestly editors. Please don't identify Davids throne with your own fleshly insight
You don't know why to GOD David was seen as a model of CHRIST
And what you are identifying is the subjects and not the king
Isaiah 8 remains sufficientJesus has been forced into many OT writings by converted Jews who were trying to justify their faith in him and their conversion to his movement. People put God in a doctrine box so they can get control of it rather than surrender self to the guidance of God. There is the religion of Jesus which is endless growth and the religion about Jesus which one simply believes a doctrine.Colter, please forgive me, but I am not interested in discussing with you "yeast" which has been added to HIS WORD
HE told us to beware of "yeast"
And it appears you have added "yeast" where it died big belong
In this you pollute THE PURE UNADULTERATED BREAD of THE WORD of GOD
CHRIST is sufficient
All man made material added to THE FOUNDATION, will be removed
