None of the FE postulations can be proven and most are easily disproved. If you were open to truth, you would accept the globe earth. "Deluded" is not an insult. All you are doing is choosing an arbitrary number that makes you feel good. You haven't done any geometry to confirm it's height. You need to get a couple of friends who live some distance from you to measure the angle and direction of view to the ISS at the same moment you do on a clear night. Then you can use simple geometry to calculate its height. You can't simply dismiss the value others have been told.

If the earth is flat.. it is totally unnecessary.. Gravity is only needed to keep the water and all loose objects on the spinning ball and keep them from flying off. Or, falling off the bottom.

However, set two billiard balls on a pool table, one millimeter apart and they will never roll together on their own.. If gravity is based on mass... Then how is that possible.. yet Pluto is kept in orbit from a massive distance away.

Zero gravity is a "sphere earth" concept. You don't need it if the entire universe is a plain... Down is down.. you would need a force to keep things up... Without that force.. things fall down.
No mysterious tractor beam.. or mysterious force would be necessary to hold things down. There would be no reason for an object to be anywhere but on the ground.

It's hard to get past the cognitive dissonance... we have been taught since birth.. But.. No globe.. no need for a gravitational "force".

They probably will, but the force bringing them together will be something other than gravity. You need objects of immense mass to generate a significant gravitational force.

They would have to overcome the force of gravity pulling them down, since they'd have to move up toward each other in an arc. The force pulling them down is far, far greater than the force between each other.

And friction isn't a stretch, it's very basic physics.
