Always an issue with being a fallible human.![]()
One begins to suspect you are deliberately avoiding the question. Are you capable of answering my question?
All humans lack the moral authority to judge their creator.
In the abscence of Jesus substitutionary death on the cross for our sins, we all stand condemned. The bible is clear that all have sinned and that the penalty for sin is death.
And yet I'm doing it just fine -- and if the Bible is to be believed, I find Him wanting.
And we care what the Bible says because...?

Thank you. So you are in exactly the same boat as those of us who judge the character portrayed in the bible as negative. You can judge his actions to be good but since you do not have the "moral authority" or knowledge you are relying on your flawed human capacities.
There is a difference between judging and discerning between right and wrong choices.
OK. Explain the difference and how I can tell between the two.
Judging carries with it the idea of condemning or sentencing another which implies one has the moral authority to pass such judgement, where discernment is the capacity to dintinguish between good and bad choices.
When someone says that lying is wrong they are exercising discernment. No judgement is involved in calling a wrong choice a wrong choice.

If we do not have the ability to judge for ourselves what is and isn't moral then how can anyone claim that God is moral? If, as you seem to indicate, we are incapable of judging morality for ourselves then for all we know God is immoral. We wouldn't even know, now would we?which implies one has the moral authority to pass such judgement, where discernment is the capacity to dintinguish between good and bad choices.
You can judge a beauty pageant and no one goes to jail. You can judge for yourself which is better, vanilla or chocolate ice cream. You can judge whether or not a car will fit into your garage.

I can discern good from bad choices.
Then we can discern for ourselves whether God's choices are good or bad.
You can't even discern for yourself that you are a sinner in need of a savior, presuming yourself to be morally superior to those of us who recognize their own sin even to the point of presuming to judge you own creator.
Would the shooting down of American Airlines Flight 11 been good or bad?I feel sorry for people who can not tell the difference between good and bad.
Would the shooting down of American Airlines Flight 11 been good or bad?
Would you have ordered it, if you could?Would the shooting down of American Airlines Flight 11 been good or bad?If God ordered it, apparently it would be good.
Would you have ordered it, if you could?
Then we can discern for ourselves whether God's choices are good or bad.
