  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

  1. Drought of the Heart

    Jonah 3 !!!Evacuation

I have been given a word from the Lord today and when it came , all I could think about was Jonah. Jonah would rather hide , run away or die than do what the Lord had told him to do . One of the things we over look sometimes about Nineveh is those people knew God before they lost their way or...

Hate Crime of Act of Love ???Luke 9

When I saw a bus driver faces 2 years in prison for handing out salvation leaflets, I cried. That is the world we live in now , that act is being called a hate crime. For sometime now the Lord has been showing us the children are in danger. Everything is about the soul , now and the souls of...

    Haggai and Jesus

Haggai what an absolutely amazing 2 chapter Book. Haggai 1 6 Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes. 7...

Nahum 1 and The Sahara Dessert

You know that I loved Nahum 1 today... 3 The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet. 4 He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the...

    Micah 7 and Genesis 6

When we go through the whole Bible we see patterns in what God did and what the people did. For the most part it is always the same , turning from God and God doing this when the people turned back. Micah 7:18 Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the...

    Joel 1 and The Drought

Joel chapter 1 is a confirmation of the call in “ Drought of the Heart.” God always shows the people what happens when we turn away from God. The drought in this Book sounds like the Dust Bowl in the 1930s. Verse 10 The field is wasted, the land mourneth; for the corn is wasted: the new wine...

    Definition Of Wilderness

When we started on our journey in 2007 we had a vague idea of what a wilderness season in God meant. We had read many of the Christian classics, Tozer, Guyon, John of the Cross, Thomas a Kempis, Theresa of Avila and others describing wilderness seasons. From there we learned a little about what...
