Responding to the risk that some speakers may spread misinformation about the crisis or promote false conspiracies, Catholic author and radio host Patrick Coffin said he hoped those attending the conference will pose the “toughest questions imaginable” to discover the truth.

"misinformation", another new word that specifically denotes information that does not align with the "official" view on the covid-19 pandemic.

Funny how we are already getting used to all this, only one year after the introduction of the pandemic.

I wanted to check out the summit itself but I haven't been able to, is any of it's content available to view now? Coffin had been promoting it for weeks, if not months, and I remember the buzz when sites shut down their video stream. I mean, attempts to obfuscate the truth don't get much more brazen than that.

It would seem that Coffin is a man we should follow given how frequently he's been targeted by the censorship squad this year. His YouTube channel was completely shutdown just a month or two ago, and then they interfered in this conference. They don't want him or his message to be heard. Why? For that reason alone I think we should be paying closer attention to him.

Beyond that what I've heard from him, I think he's absolutely right. The mainstream/left are throwing all kinds of defamatory labels at him and his ideas, calling him a conspiracy theorist and an alt-right extremist, etc. He's none of those things, he's a cogent, sharp, normal guy with keen insight into what's happening in the world today. Both politically and religiously.

Our society, and by extension western society as a whole, has developed a whole new lexicon since 2015. All thanks to those idiot woke folk.

(I hate even using the word "woke" but it'll have to do until something better comes along)

I registered and am listening to parts of it. So far I think it is of uneven quality. Mostly good but some over the top. Example being the guy who denied viruses were real. I know a bit too much cell biology to go for that. But the main point that this is a political disease rings clear. And the discussion of a great reset seems sensible.

Do you think the lower quality parts degrade the overall credibility of the conference?

Well of course. But then there are excellent ones like Dr, Scott Jensen, that make up for the klinkers. But even the guy who denied the existence of viruses, was otherwise good in discussing Cecil Rhodes and his plans for the world. Had he not ventured into the biology of viruses, where he has no expertise, his would have been excellent too.

I see your point, we can't throw the baby out with the bathwater. Lord knows that's how the mainstream works nowadays.
