The ex-FBI agent Cleon Skousen, who served the FBI for sixteen years, included in his 1958 book The Naked Communist, 45 Soviet strategic goals for taking over the west. Many of these goals have been completed, some are in action today. Skousen was an officer linked with the FDR's Lend-Lease program, and complained of how certain secrets were being allowed to escape to the Soviets during that program. Skousen also participated in the debrief of the U.S. State Department official Whittaker Chambers who was discovered to be a Soviet spy. These 45 goals were entered into the U.S. Congressional Record in 1963.

1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.
(This is about the idea of the U.S. accepting Communist states like Russia and Red China in co-existence as peaceful nations with each other. On a 'peace' platform, it is easier for Communist strategy to infiltrate and influence, as we have seen even more since the Berlin Wall was allowed to be taken down.)

2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.
(The Communists have always had the plan to force the West to capitulate when it comes to nuclear war. It means the Soviet's didn't want atomic war any more than the U.S. did. But... the Soviet Communists were indeed willing to threaten... atomic war in order to get what they want. They're still doing that political ploy too, as Putin threatened nuclear war when the free West started supporting Ukraine against Russia's invasion.)

3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament (by) the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength.
(There's actually servants in the U.S. government's administrations that are gullible enough to believe they could trust the Communist nations with disarmament agreements. President Reagan instead said, "trust but verify". The idea of disarmament being a 'moral strength' thus should be presented equally to the Communists also, no excuses.)

4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.
(Believe it or not, some U.S. corporations and financiers helped our enemies in World War II (Prescott Bush aid to Hitler), Korea, and Vietnam. To many of the filthy rich, only 'money' is their country. They have no problem financially aiding BOTH sides in a war as a means towards more wealth, or for political influence in a longer range goal. This is not speculation, but fact. Even Trotsky, who had no job, was poor while here in the U.S., left New York on his way to Moscow to help foment the Russian revolution with $10,000 U.S. in his pocket. He was stopped by the police in Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is how they discovered the money on his person. Word was sent from London to let him go. Today, free trade with the West is allowed with most of the Communist nations.)

5. Extension of long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites.
(That essentially means loans the Communists never intend to pay back. One of the dirty little secrets of some of the wealthiest capitalists in the West, is that they prefer Socialist-Communism. It took me a long time to understand just why tax-exempt foundations like the Ford, Carnegie, and Rockefeller foundations could fund Communist subversive activities in the U.S. [see Foundations: Their Power and Influence]. The ex-FBI agent Cleon Skousen also posed the question of 'why' to U.S. State Dept. official Whittaker Chambers who was caught as a Soviet spy. Chambers had come from a well-to-do family with good American values, so how could he become a turncoat and work for the Communists? 6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.
(Definitely a Communist dream. But the free nations still do it, actually gave them foreign aid when they got into trouble economically, and we are still... doing that today, even though the Communists have threatened eventual war with the U.S. [like Red China keeps doing], which is actually just another political ploy to get more economic aid out of us. They know we will cave in, because we don't want to 'chance' nuclear war with them, our thinking the Communist nations might have some leader stupid enough to start a nuclear war. Could this be why North Korea's leader acts so stupid and crazy?)

7. Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N.
(At that time when Skousen wrote this in 1958, Red China had not yet been admitted into the U.N. Today, Red China and Russia are both Communist nations among the permament members of the U.N. Security Council. The other 3 permament members today are France, the United Kingdom, and the U.S.A. This Soviet goal in 1958 of course, was about the idea of having more Communist members in the U.N. juggling for its purposes.)

8. Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev’s promise in 1955 to settle the German question by free elections under supervision of the U.N.
(The above means Russia was never... supposed to have built the Berlin Wall and divide Germany. The Soviets basically denied the agreed election. That justifies our U.S. officials rigging the South Vietnamese election in my book. But the Soviet Communists actually had a much deeper and much more sinister plan behind use of the Berlin Wall and dividing Germany. Per the ex-KGB colonel Anatoliy Golitsyn in his 1984 book New Lies For Old, he said if it was time for the Soviet's 1958 long-range 3rd Phase Plan, they might allow the Berlin Wall to come down. It did come down in 1989, with their Perestroika so-called movement, which the U.S. media even told us lies that Communism was 'dead'. No, as we have found out, Communism is NOT dead, not then, and not today either.)

9. Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the United States has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress.
(Cute Soviet strategy, don't ya think? Keep us tied up in negotiations, because some Leftist U.S. bureaucrat made a promise to the Soviets to not continue U.S. atomic tests as long as negotiations were going on. And this while the Soviets would keep doing their testing! Just a way to trick the West into letting the Communists try to catch up technology-wise.)

10. Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the U.N.
(This one is like no.7 for getting U.N. representation for Red China, except this would allow many more Communist states to have a say at U.N. functions. Thank God it hasn't happened, yet.)

11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces. (Skousen Note: Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the U.N. as by Moscow. Sometimes these two centers compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo.)

(My Note: Did you notice Skousen said there "a one-world government" plan for the U.N. Charter? This was 1958 when Skousen wrote that, and by this it means the U.S. State Dept. had to have already known about that plan for a "one-world government" by the enemies of the United States of America and its associated free nations. The Georgetown University history professor, Carrol Quigley, Bill Clinton's history professor when he attended Georgetown, covered much about this 'OTHER' power under Western Socialism that is working towards the same goal as the Communists, i.e., a "one-world government.")

12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party.
(This should make sense, the Communist Party USA is of special notice here. In the 1950's Congressional hearings were held by U.S. Senator Joseph McCarthy, the head of the House Committee on Un-American Activities, having listed a specific group of U.S. citizens that were either card-carrying Communist Party members, and/or were affiliated with Soviet spies, or were working for the Soviets. In U.S. media slandered McCarthy, claiming he was on a witch-hunt, a "red scare", they called it, even "McCarthyism" (i.e., the Communists love using labels as a smear tactic). In the 1990s, after the Berlin Wall came down, and many of the KGB secret records were de-classified, Senator Joseph McCarthy was EXONERATED. The ones he listed were indeed working for the Soviets it was discovered in those de-classified KGB files, called the Venona Project. The Venona Project)

13. Do away with all loyalty oaths.
(This should be obvious why the Communists want oaths in the U.S. courtroom banned for them. It's because if one is caught lying on the courtroom stand after having taken the oath, it means the crime called perjury, and it can involve a prison sentence depending on the situation. Communists in the U.S. don't want to be under that.)

14. Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office.
(Sure, just let the Soviets have access to all our technology secrets. The Italian Marconi was claimed to be the inventor of the radio, even though he used something like 16 U.S. patents by Tesla to create it.)

15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.
(As far as I'm concerned, the Democratic Party of the U.S.A. has deeply fallen to Communist control. This is easily proven just by the Far Left type of political platform it supports. In my parents era, and before, the Democratic Party USA used to hold to conservative values, and it was the Republican Party that most often only supported the rich and corporations. That kind of political division was extremely deep back in the days of the early trade unions in the 1900s, the time of Samuel Gompers and American Federation of Labor (AFL, which would eventualy become the AFL-CIO). Soviet Communism saw the division in America back in those days in the U.S., and began infiltrating the U.S. trade unions. It became popular to become a member of the Communist Party back then, because of Communist support for labor (i.e., "workers of the world, unite!"). Today, the Democratic Party still stands primarily for labor, but it actually originates from earlier Communist influence, not conservative influence. In the times of the founding fathers like Thomas Jefferson, the Democratic Party platform was more like the Republican platform of today, very conservative, not liberal-Leftist.

The Liberal vs. Conservative political movements came out of the French Revolution of 1780s France. Liberty, Equality, Fraternity, were its watchwords. The Libertine lifestyle came out of such immoral ideals held. In opposition, in Great Britain, the British were against the political ideals of the French Revolutionaries, and instead promoted the idea of Conservatism. That is where the idea between a Liberal and Conservative began in history.)

16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.
(That is one of the means the Communists use against the laws agreed to by U.S. citizenry and their institutions. And usage of the Civil Rights movement by Communists is a 'known' history in the U.S.A., especially influential among the Southern Black population (see

17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
(That is not difficult to see as already being in place in many places in today's public school system. I have read Bibles being removed student's possession during their study halls, with promotion of classes on the Islamic religion is promoted instead. Check out the Internet free news website World Net Daily every once in a while, as the editor there has no problem with reporting news of anti-Christian activity in U.S. school systems. See wnd.com)

18. Gain control of all student newspapers.
(The idea is to capture the mind of the child when young and easily influenced. And what better place than the student newspaper to spread Communist propaganda? Keep reading; there's others.)

19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs of organizations which are under Communist attack.
(College students back in the 1960's were especially willing to attend political rallies just for the fun of it, not aware of who was actually promoting the rally, and what it was about. I recall Jane Fonda (a known pro-Communist, and Donald Sutherland, up on a stage, protesting the Vietnam war, and with North Vietnamese Communist flags flying among the crowd. Do you think Jane and Donald were the only ones behind the Communist promotions there on that day? If you do, think again.)

20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policymaking positions.
(That is how one can push propaganda among an unsuspecting population, reading a major portion of the U.S. public in order to influence popular opinion. As editor, you control which books are allowed to go into print. It is a style of censorship. And in the realm of "policymaking positions", that means the passing of foreign policy, or U.S. legislation. So this Soviet goal simply means to creep into the positions of the law and government.)

21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.
(Karl Marx said the use of film for propaganda purposes would be great. When Senator Joseph McCarthy was having Congressional hearings about Communist infiltration, some folks working for the TV networks, like CBS, became nervous. Why do you think that was? Hollywood even later made a movie about it, called Good Night and Good Luck.)

22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.”
(Now you have an idea of where the modern forms of avant-guard abstract art got started. The art critic helps determine what kind... of art you as an artist will make a living with, or you can just die being a poor artist and rejected, like many artists of history have done. The most important reason behind this goal though is, to downplay American historical figures which if you saw in Communist nations like Russia, Red China, etc., the idea of the 'heroic' is BOOSTED among the public in those countries.)

23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.”
(There again, a lot of the abstract art movement is simply BOGUS. And the little girl that naturally painted abstracts that sold for thousands of dollars really worried the New York art critic world. See My Kid Could Paint That - Wikipedia. She made the art critics in New York nervous, because if a little girl can paint abstracts that good, then the whole modern abstract movement falls on its face as a HOAX, which is indeed what it really is, due to Communist infiltration in the art critic and art director worlds.)

24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free
speech and free press.
(Try and tell me that is not going on today. When the American public comes together and agrees that something is morally distasteful and should not be allowed, that is NOT censorship, it is Americans using their God-given moral rights. Morality should NEVER be excluded under considerations of censorship. But that is exactly what the Communists have created in the U.S.A. and the free nations also. People with common sense ought to understand this simple matter of Communist attack against the morals of good people as they do so to disrupt, stir up confusion, cause riots, divide, etc.)

25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting inappropriate contentography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio and TV.
(Pretty much the same idea as no.24, the Communist promoting what is morally distasteful and an object of a mentally unbalanced mind.)

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”
(Also associated with nos.24 & 25, the promoting of what is unnatural and immoral instead. The Communists must have been very proud of the Kinsey Report books loosed on the American public in 1948 and 1953, telling lies that certain sexual acts were 'normal', actually pushing Communist propaganda upon an unaware public. "Well the scientists and doctor professionals say so?" No they don't, the Communist propagandists say so. End of sexual revolution by the Truth.)

27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a “religious crutch.”
(Very important here. Did you know the Communists had a plan to infiltrate the Christian Churches to push their Communist propaganda against Christ Jesus?? Skousen covered the matter some, Golitsyn covered the matter in his book New Lies For Old also, and in his 1990 book The Perestroika Deception. Their idea is about pushing SOCIALIST Christian doctrines based on intellectualism instead of BIBLE-BELIEVING REVELATION DIRECTLY FROM GOD BY THE HOLY SPIRIT. This is why those SOCIALIST intellectual types hate Christian Fundamentalists who stick to what God reveals in His Word. And by the way, the last meeting of Christian pastors in Moscow that I heard in the news was back in 1993, so yes, the Communists actually have the audacity to bring western Christian leaders to Moscow for religious summits! Golitsyn warned about this also in New Lies For Old.)

28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the grounds that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”
(And you maybe thought that was done by some atheist that was claiming her religious rights were being violated by making her participate in public prayer?? Nope, that was, and still is, a COMMUNIST strategy against the western Christian nations.)

29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with
modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.
(The reality is the American founders of the United States knew exactly... what they were doing when they wrote the U.S. Constitution and its Amendments. They looked at all the other 'failed' government institution types and knew the political ideas to steer away from. If the Constitution of The United States of America is followed, then it will always bring peace and prosperity to its citizens. And if you are an American citizen, you should find it strange when you keep hearing the media falsely claim that the U.S.A. is a Democracy. It is not; the U.S.A. is a Constitutional Republic. ) Democratic style principles, which the Constitution has, is not... the same thing as a Constitutional Republic.)

30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man.”
(Do you think Communists are allowed to defame their Soviet heroes like Joseph Stalin? even though Stalin literally murdered millions... of his own citizens??? Comparing Stalin with Thomas Jefferson, which one do you think had no concern for the common man?)

31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the grounds that it was only a minor part of the “big picture.” Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.
(Believe it or not, but one of the goals also when the Berlin Wall came down, was to try and join Communist East philosophy with Western philosophy, including in the public schools of both East and West. Their "big picture" actually is a one-Socialist State. So just can't have some 9 year old talking about his American heros like George Washington, or David Farragut ("Damn the torpedoes...").

32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture–education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.
(That has been a Soviet goal that has come to their great use against us in the past few decades. We now have so-called professionals linked with the school systems giving our children DRUGS to control their behavior, and even KIDNAPPING our children and holding them against the parent's will! The atrocities in this area are fanatical, monstrous, and those behind it need to be brought to court under the law and dealt with by the American people! And to think, the Soviet Communists thought this stuff up against the free nations back in 1958.)

33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.
(Of course the Communists want any association of Communist activity separated from prosecution by the laws of the free nations! When you see all their Communist activities disconnected from being under the law, then you know you are living in a Communist type state.)

34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.
(That was the American Congressional Committee that Senator Joseph McCarthy was head of in the 1950's that publically proclaimed a list of known Communists guilty of Communist activities in the U.S.. That Committee's job was to hunt down Communist activity in the United States, to track Communists, and if they made subversive acts against the laws of the U.S., those under the power of that Committee could arrest those Communists. The American actor John Wayne even made a movie about that Committee on Un-American Activities called Big Jim McClain. It's kind of hard to find too, and forget seeing it on Netflix or Prime, or one of the other liberal networks. I recommend every... law-abiding American citizen to see it. And guess what? They did eliminate that House Committee on Un-American Activities. I think they should bring it back!)

35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.
(Not so far. But it's pretty easy to see how the Communists want it ended. Hollywood definitely does not help the FBI image either.)

36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.
(Soviet Communists began creeping in among the American trade unions back in the 1920s forward. The American trade unions cleaned many of them out later, but obviously not all. But in Europe, as we can see with all the Leftist Labor Workers Parties, the Communist infiltration is obvious.)

37. Infiltrate and gain control of big business.
(Now who would have believed that would be a Soviet long-range goal? The Communists are not against business, their idea is State-Controlled Businesses. That means the Kremlin runs the corporation, not the company's boardroom. Like the Red Chinese front company at the Panama Canal that it was handed over to by ex-President Bill Clinton.)

38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand (or treat).
(Now there's a policy that might serve the future "great tribulation" time, having someone delivered up just because they 'disagree' with Communist policy. And if that don't work, then there's always that idea of declaring you mentally ill for not agreeing with Communist policy. Lord Jesus, come!)

39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.
(What I said in no.38).

40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.
(Under the Communist society, you don't actually own your children, the state does. They can and will take your children away from you if they desire. This policy of the Communists should easily reveal how evil and distorted their thinking is. Encouraging promiscuity attacks a society's moral fabric. Easy divorce means easy divisions among families.)

41. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use united force to solve economic, political or social problems.
(The Soviets should have read deeper into our Constitution of The United States of America, because it provides authority for a U.S. state governor to call out his state National Guard troops to counter any violent attempt at overthrow among the public. During the Vietnam war era with Communist infiltrators on the Kent State Ohio college campus we saw this situation. The students rioted, the governor called out the National Guard, and 4 students were killed with 9 wounded. What's the matter with ignorant folks, EVERY government has the right to defend itself against revolutionaries, and the governments are not always in the wrong! Thus the Communist backers of those Kent State students should have read our U.S. Constitution more. And too bad those students at Kent State that got shot weren't the Communist riot promoters instead!)

43. Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government.
(That Communist idea is about getting control of the high leadership before the native citizens start movement towards an election to put in power who 'they'... want.)

44. Internationalize the Panama Canal.
(ex-President Bill Clinton did one better. He just gave the Panama Canal under control of a front company for Red China. And Clinton waited until U.S. Congress went home for the Christmas holidays to do the dirty deal too, so Congress was not involved in the decision.)

45. Repeal the Connally reservation so the United States cannot prevent the World Court from seizing jurisdiction over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction over nations and individuals alike.
(The World Court does not have full jurisdiction on our U.S. court systems. Not yet, but they are still trying, even though the U.S. has lost sovereignty in some areas.)
