Right now you could feel me with this thread which has pushed a new poster away and she may have to seek treatment, treating another long time poster like he is the worst and acting like those who got vaccinated as near Satan's kids. Where is Christ in all that?
Have you ever read in the Gospels what Christ said to those who believed that He came to bring peace in the world? What did He say to them?
"Do not assume that I have come to bring peace to the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn
‘a man against his father,
a daughter against her mother,
a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. A man’s enemies will be the members
of his own household.’ Anyone who loves his father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me; and anyone who does not take up his cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for My sake will find it." (Matthew 10:34-39)
There is a peace inside of me that Christ gives, that the world cannot know, but this does not mean that there will always be peace between people when there are controversial matters of belief at hand. The Christian "iconoclast" controversy lasted the better part of 100 years, causing much division and conflict in people's lives. An important question was at hand and needed to be settled, and so there had to be conflict. There's no avoiding it, and that is why Christ told us not to expect there to always be peace.
Our calling is to follow Him, and in order for us to do this we must work on learning just what He means by this calling. I know my calling and the exact form that my own "following" of Him is: I am called to be an apostle to
little children - to babies. I am to be their guide and protector. That is why I have positioned myself along side of all the little children who are regularly slain in the womb (by abortion). I don't receive vaccines that were made using fetal tissues from electively aborted fetuses. I refuse, and would rather be slain by the sword, or die from a disease, than comply with the destruction of "these little ones" by agreeing with the immoral practices of modern science.
I'm not the judge of others, or even of myself for that matter. God is the only righteous judge, so I'll leave it to God to take care of all things pertaining to the salvation of others. But I reject immorally developed vaccines. If this causes a problem for others, I can't help this. The Lord did say there would be divisions on account of belief. Ought we just agree with whatever anyone else does so as not to be responsible for creating divisions? I don't see how this is even possible.
