Do you all accept biblical inerrancy/infallibility and why?

I've always wondered why whitespace and punctuation was so late to gain popularity. I know the writing material was expensive, but all it takes is a tiny dot between words to make it a lot more clear.
And yet it only got more unclear to most people. Still happening today also.
Thus, or why, is it not clear to you ?

I'm saying in scripture...
Yes, in Scripture - that is , the Bibles available, whether from Jews or from gentiles; both have punctuation and 'changes', as mankind gets farther and farther distant from Scripture.....

Not referring to Torah preserved in Jerusalem, in Ethiopia, and wherever it is still preserved as it has been for thousands of years.

In days of yore, the Bible was the only text available for many people to read and in many cases people were illiterate and listened to others read the Bible to them. Now there are many books available.

In days of yore as of today we are born illiterate,

From then on what we first heard is the foundation of how we build.

Thinking back it seems that way, at any rate,

There are a whole lot of internet users for whom it still hasn't quite caught on. :D

Thus billions of more opportunities to sin.
Better to go and sin no more.
As Jesus Says: Unless each repent, they perish.

The TORAH agrees: TRAIN UP A CHILD in the way he should go,

and when he is older,

he will not depart far from it.

An indoctrinated child doesn't really have faith and I find it highly suspicious that god would suggest otherwise.

I am proposing that Christianity should be a living religion where each human uses his/her direct access to God to determine if God exists, who he is, what he wants from humans, etc. I am not recommending the use of non-Christian religious texts.
That is a clear example of projecting.

You are the one who doesn't know if God exists.. you've called your efforts if any.. fuzzy. And your conclusion has been that God is inaccessible..
yet you are telling Christians what they ought to do to determine if God exists.

Maybe so.

The Bible says that anyone who comes to God must believe that He exists. The belief comes from the witness of the Holy Spirit who leads and guides into all the truth. Jesus said that God's Word is truth.

The truth that God exists cannot be determined on your own, by your own methods.

Getting a revelation that God exists gives a person direct access to God. You had it backwards, that the access given would determine that God exists.

The revelation is the witness that God exists. And that is confirmed by the Bible which is the inspired Word of God.

A pagan god(s) indoctrinates fully into death, on the path to destruction.
"Faith" in deception, in deadly direction.

What if I replaced "pagan god(s)" with "Christian God" and posted the above into this friendly "world religions" sub-forum? I am almost certain that I would get into trouble for breaking some forum rules - probably a blasphemy rule I suppose.

You seem like an earnest and sincere person, but I think you would be more successful in your evangelical efforts if you stopped with all the fire and brimstone. Most people have heard about the fire and brimstone a billion times before and don't need to hear about it again.

As long as God promises fire and brimstone to pagans, it is so.
Try replacing those words as you noted, IF you have a REAL QUESTION, IF you TRULY are seeking the TRUTH.
If you are not seeking the TRUTH, don't bother.

I'm confused. If I rephrased your criticism of the pagan gods to become a criticism of the Christian God then I would be in violation of CF rules. How would that help me find the truth?

Ask and find out, IF you really want to know.

If you're worried, or don't want to know the truth, don't ask.

Find another section to ask in if you have to to alleviate your 'worries'.

The criticism you wrote of the pagan gods was not a question, so if I rephrase your criticism to make it apply to the Christian God then it will not be a question either. So what is it that you want me to ask and find out?

What's this "direct access to God" supposed to mean?
