That is very sadistic. I hope you’re not working under her now.

Your struggle fed something unhealthy within her. But its clear she had no lasting impact. You have a very tranquil spirit. :)
I'm one of those who tries to avoid confrontations as much as possible, but I usually have no fear in telling people exactly how things are! :)

We are the same. I don’t like conflict. I see the spiritual harm and seek to avert it for myself and the other party.

But that doesn’t mean I fear it or won’t engage every spiritual tool I have within my person. I just don’t believe that is the first response in most situations.

I feel like my ex used to do it to me, but I don't know if she really knew it or not

I don’t know what you experienced. But I know that cruelty is never the Lord’s response. Some people have experienced pain to a depth where normal relations are difficult. Discerning the truth takes time.

There are those who seek to harm, punish, or exact vengeance through covert means. Their intentions were never good and were undertaken with our injury in mind. This is not of God and is wholly evil.

I feel like the Lord was telling me to get out of it plenty of times, but I guess I thought I had something to prove maybe, etc... But, no, definitely wasn't healthy, and I have some "scars" from it for sure, but doing pretty good now actually. I'm happy for the most part, and I'm happy with myself and by myself, which I don't know if I would have been as much had I not went through that...

I might have still been looking to other people, or a spouse, etc, to meet and fulfill my needs instead of God, along with some "other lessons" as well, I might have not learned to not let go of or not trust and not allow toxic or destructive people in my life, which might have been to my detriment now, etc...

I used to have this thing with picking people, or I just attracted them IDK, who were toxic and destructive people in my life, mates, friends, etc, and I don't so much now...

Little lonely at times, but it's really not "that bad" and really not that bad at all, really, and I don't know that I would have had that perspective before...?

Anyhow,

God Bless!

I think there are some who does so intentionally and with malice and others whose coping mechanism is ingrained.

Yes. It is a subtle strong arming.

You’ve given me something else to consider as well. God is frequently used as the avenue to gain access to a person’s ear or earn their trust.

Exactly what Lucifer did in the Garden of Eden - as well as with Jesus in the desert.

I think that’s more common than you realize. I’ve encountered people who want to be everything or desire you to fill that role and its a clear sign they are filling a void within themselves. I would never agree to that.

I might have not learned to not let go of or not trust and not allow toxic or destructive people in my life, which might have been to my detriment now, etc...

Mind games destroy trust. After a while you find yourself questioning everything about their person. Until all that’s left is an effigy of lies.

I used to have this thing with picking people, or I just attracted them IDK, who were toxic and destructive people in my life, mates, friends, etc, and I don't so much now...

I have always felt it was better for me to choose than respond to an expression of interest out of the blue. My most successful pairings are with men whose qualities I noticed on my own.

Little lonely at times, but it's really not "that bad" and really not that bad at all, really, and I don't know that I would have had that perspective before...?

Peace is priceless. Chaos takes a toll.

Sometimes you stand against the problem. But there are instances when you must stand against the individual if they’re diabolical or unrepentant.

I believe this person is under a demonic influence, given many strange and unexplainable things that have happened.

Do they know your calling and do you understand the earlier comments about Jezebel?

No, she does not know my calling yet, and I've feared her eventually finding out not only because of the crab spirit, but especially because of the "spirit of sabotage," along with the spirit of jealousy/ envy.

Is this a Jezebel spirit?

(There was one more person unrelated to her, a male, whom strange things have happened around him. But I'm letting it go because I do not see these strange happenings being accompanied by signs of the presence of evil spirits in him).

There is no need to fear. Satan is defeated. It is done. The Lord may be permitting this to toughen your mettle. There will be some who seek to harm you or the work you’ve been assigned.

But God has not given us a spirit of fear! Remember the words Moses uttered as the Egyptians pursued them:

And Moses said to the people, “Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again.

Is this a Jezebel spirit?

I will share something to strengthen you. I already suspected the spirit was involved. The comments made by @brinny confirmed my suspicions and the Lord has used her in the past to deliver a word to me.

I posed the question to gauge your familiarity and assuage your fears. There is some information on this site that’s helpful. I should have expected this.

As for you, she cannot do anything the Lord doesn’t permit. He’s God’s devil.

I would not mislead you. I am fond of you and you know that. There were limits to my suffering. I know you understand what I’m referencing. Even more so when you’re under the blood. :)

Mind games. We’ve heard of them and recognize the damage they cause.

In your opinion, what drives the behavior? And how do you address it as a Christian?
mind games come from the devil. don't be around those that play them.

They lie too, and on purpose, if you must listen to them, listen intently and then pose questions that you know will trip them up and expose their lies, then you will know for sure... Then don't go or be around them or associate with them anymore...

God Bless!

I wouldn't think of advising anyone to engage spirits. But I definitely want to encourage you to sever ALL TIES with any and all people in your life who are under the influence of any kind of violent, abusive, or manipulative demon. I believe this is wisdom.

1 Peter 5:8
Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

Do not fear - especially the defeated enemy of our Lord.

God equips us for the battles we are to face with armor in Eph 6, but He fights the battles for us while we stand firm.

“For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ”
(2 Corinthians 10:3–5).

Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
(Luke 10:19)

For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil
(1 John 3:8)

Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.
(Col 2:15)

Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
(James 4:7)

Thank you. These are encouraging verses. Cutting all ties would require one of us (me or her) to leave the church community. But I will keep distance as much as possible.
