So you read RGB’s legal brief?

They lied to you about that, too. It wasn't a legal brief. You can read it here:
http://eppc.org/docLib/20050608_Ginsburg2.pdf#page=71

It is merely Ginsberg's argument that discrimination on the basis of sex is unconstitutional. The Supreme Court agreed with her, and that is now the law of the land. Once again, you trusted people who played you, correctly guessing that you wouldn't check and see if they were lying.

Do American detainment centers look like this? Not only do people who want to claim that there are concentration camps on the US border very, very wrong...it's extremely disrespectful to any concentration camp survivor and their families.

It's really unfair. In the German concentration camps, for example, children were given cots to sleep on and were allowed to bathe themselves.

So sex trafficking and trafficking of children and across state lines and the age of sexual consent is about discrimination?

Please explain.

You do know that "Snopes" has no validity... right?

That publication has sort of reached the place where it can be dismissed in debate without even reading the contents of its link. Its notoriously bias.

"No validity"? It's always adorable when people make this claim. Could you point out where what the link said was wrong?

...did I miss the links showing where what they said was wrong?

We are not a democracy, we are a constitutional republic
In the thesaurus, when you look up the word republic? here's a list of synonyms:
democracy, democratic state, constitutional government, commonwealth, self-government, representative government, government by popular sovereignty

It doesn’t change the fact that the USA is a constitutional republic and not a democracy.

Everyday we all learn new things. It’s one of life’s joys.

Why do you think multiple people make the same claim?

Maybe because their IS validity to their point.

Ok then.

Since you keep telling me I'm lying.

Why don’t you tell me what the name of the Bill before Congress you mentioned and then I will work backwards.

Because I’m sick of your accusations.

Which Bill before Congress?

I’ll wait and then we can pick it up from there.

Its pretty bad that you are asking me to provide you info from the paper that you are asking everyone else if they have read. S. 1400 §1633. Sponsored by Republican Senator Roman Hruska from Nebraska.

If you had read the links others had provided, you would know this.

No, that's just what the guys who sold you that faked story were peddling. In fact, Ginsberg's proposed revision to the Mann Act (which Congress implemented in an amendment to the act) actually makes it easier to use to prosecute anyone trafficking children, since it was expanded to include trafficking that would under any law that would be otherwise illegal, and would nail pedophiles trafficking any child, not just girls.

Please explain.

They lied to you. You didn't bother to check, and so you were easy to fool. Here's a hint: always check. And when someone tells you something you really, really want to believe, that's precisely when it's most important to check, because that's the easiest way to fool you.

As was the case this time. Learn from it.

Why do you think multiple people make the same claim?
Because the person they support tends to say: A) things that aren't true and B) Snopes shows just how much that candidate lies? So anyone that does that (shows him lying) then has a choice: either admit they support a liar and the truth doesn't matter or pretend the person showing the truth "has no validity". I'm reminded of a quote:
"When an honest man discovers he is mistaken, he will either cease to be mistaken or cease to be honest."

Maybe because their IS validity to their point.
Did I miss the part where anyone making the claim about Snopes "having no validity" showed links showing they were wrong about this? Because what I see are people making claims who's main goal wouldn't appear to be about "what's the truth" and more of "that page says things that I want very much to be true aren't, so they must be wrong" :sorry:
tulc(just thought that should be pointed out) ;)

The term that is more accurate is democratic. We hold to democratic ideals.

Not to be confused with the Democrat party that has nothing to do with it and is just a name.

People should use critical thinking and if the same source is consistently cited as being inaccurate they should look into it, rather than immediately dismissing it.

Why won’t you consider that snopes may be unreliable

Probably because Germany prepared in advance to take in all those people, albeit not for a good reason. At our border, we didn't build concentration camps. We have places to house people who come over the border and are detained while their claims are processed. They weren't designed to handle tens of thousands of people flooding over the border in caravans. Hence, the overcrowding and less than ideal conditions.
