There should be some indications of a prophet that will head the last great dispensation before Christ's second coming. A prophet that will receive instructions from Jesus about how to fulfill the prophecy in
the bible about the restitution of all things, to prepare the world for the second coming.

JS was a very important person to lead the last dispensation before the second coming.
The Book of Revelation Chapter 11 has that covered. No need to believe your false prophet JS.

LOL! You guys are pretty carnal minded, aren't you?---NOBODY KNOWS! There is speculation that Adam and Eve were covered in light.

Because we are adopted!!! Adoption makes us His legal heirs. Non of the information that JS gives is true.
It is not carnal to be naked and not know you are naked. There does not seem to be an awakening until after A&E partook of the fruit. Was there something in the fruit that changed their physiology? And now, after eating the fruit, and having fallen, they knew they were naked and made clothes, and now they wanted to have children? Just asking?

Was Jesus adopted? He was a legal heir like us.
Hebrews 1:2 King James Version (KJV)
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

If that is all you think you need to know about the restitution of all things, and preparing for the second coming, then you surely need a current prophet.

This is a good example of why we need a current prophet of God. Thank you.

That sounds like something you want to be true, but desire doesn't make false prophets true, does it?
If I say there should be, it is referring to there is. No need to desire, it is just there and it is true. Thank you for pointing that out.

They lost their innocence by disobeying God. The fruit did not have magical powers. They were going to have children whether or not they fell. They had already been given the command to do so. Their eyes were opened to their true state because they disobeyed God, If they were indeed covered with a light---it left when they fell. They covered themselves up with fig leaves--I sincerely hope that they had as yet not acquired that itchy fuzz on them!!
And thank you for posting this verse---it shows JS is not needed.

I hope they didn't have fuzz on them too. Fig leaves, go figure.

I posted this from Hebrews to compare the heir (Jesus) to the owner (God the Father). There is a difference. See Mark 12:1-8 and the parable of 'a certain man' (the owner - God the Father)
and his heir (Jesus).

We are not adopted into the family of God. We are his literal offspring. Acts 17:28-29

We are adopted into the church and household of Jesus Christ. That is why we can call Jesus the Father too, because he is the Father of the church and we become adopted sons into his church and kingdom.

So sorry--but you been shown all those verses that say we are adopted.

Rom_8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Rom_8:23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
Rom_9:4 Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;
Gal_4:5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
Eph_1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

We can call Jesus our Father because He is the creator of EVERYTHING.

Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.
Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Joh 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

That's pretty arrogant of you, to think I need more than what God has already provided through his written word, the Bible. I just proved your statement to be false, and you can't admit it.

You didn't prove anything, all you gave me as proof that we don't need prophets is Revelations 11? Coincidentally, that is a chapter about the 2 witnesses, who prophecy 1260 days (if they are prophesying, then what does that make them? Prophets?)
Do you think you need these 2 prophets in Revelations?

The Jews held on to their OT bible with such passion, that they too missed the entire NT experience. They said, we have our holy books. But by that time, their holy books had whitewashed Jesus, and the first advent of the Savior and the cross right out of existence. And so they missed Jesus completely.

You are doing the same thing in regards to prophets needed in our day to get the world ready for the second coming of Jesus.

They have to be real prophets of God. What they say can not contradict the bible, what they say can not take away or add to it, what they say has to lead to the authenticity and upholding of the bible as the word of God, not away from it; they have to point to God not themselves, what they say has to come to pass. They have to be tested. We are not to just accept any prophet or his vision without these.

JS contradicts the bible, he has added and taken away from it, he leads away from the bible claiming it has been corrupted and points to himself as having the true word of God, and he has not had his prophecies come true.

To the Godhead. If one adopts you, they all do. They are one.
All of your scriptures, are about adoption, but do not say who we are adopted to, except Ephesians 1:5. And Ephesians 1:5 clearly shows us who is adopting us, and it is Jesus Christ to himself. Wow, that is very clear, and confirms my statement.
Eph_1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will.

We are adopted children of Jesus Christ. Thank you for showing me this scripture. It says exactly what we believe.

We are literal children of God the Father. (Acts 17:28-29) We are adopted to Jesus Christ, and his adopted sons and daughters.

Now, one other point that this scripture makes. It uses the word 'predestinated us'. If we didn't exist before this earth life, you Paul would never had used this word 'predestinated' us. Since Paul knew we lived in a pre-mortal existence, he was comfortable using 'predestinated us' to be adopted children of Jesus Christ in the mortal existence.

Again, thanks for showing me Ephesians 1:5, great scripture.

Are you going to see these 2 prophets prophesying, and analyze their prophesies to see if they conform to the bible? What if they don't. Will you also reject them as false prophets if every word is not what the bible says?
Then you see them killed after 3 1/2 years, but you think that is stupid because you have analyzed their prophesies and you know they did not conform word for word with the bible.
Then you see them resurrected and you still know they are false prophets and what you are seeing is from satan.

Now, here is the kicker: These prophets prophesied that the second coming is close and then gave you information that was essential to you being ready to meet the Savior when he comes, not included in the bible. But you ignore them and reject them, because all their words did not conform to the bible. So when the second coming takes place, you are not prepared and are not caught up to meet Jesus on his return.

Just a possible scenario.

Jesus Christ is our creator---if we are His natural children, we have no need of being adopted. We are not the natural children of God the Father, the Son, or the Holy Spirit.

Act 17:24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

Nothing anywhere states we ever existed before being born---we are all---every single human being--predestined to be saved for Jesus was the Sacrificial Lamb from the foundation of the world. The price of salvation has been paid for all---but it has to be accepted by the individual.

What 2 prophets? I don't speculate about "possible scenarios"--If they are prophets of God, they will have made other predictions which can be established. Their very life will reflect if they follow the word of God. If their life does not reflect the word of God, they are not of God. If what they say contradicts the bible, they are not of God--period. You are speculating that a false prophet is actually from God and your sopeculation makes no sense. God will not resurrect a false prophet so your "possible scenario" will never happen.

You are very mistaken if you believe God can not add to the Bible. God is not dead. You are also mistaken if you believe that Joseph Smith was not a prophet of God or that The prophesies did not or will not come to pass unless God changed them as He did with Isaiah.

(New Testament | Revelation 22:18 - 19)

18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Are you aware that every English translation of the Bible has either added and or taken away from the Book of Revelation?

Not mistaken at all---and not taken in either. God changed the prophecy---not Isaiah.

Deu_29:19 And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst:
Pro_30:6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

Rev_22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
