  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I think my daughter is here... i need help.

So I just had a dream and in the dream God used the most beautiful sunset that I had ever seen that I had to show my wife Jeanette in the dream to tell me that my daughter is here. Coincidentally enough 6-8 days after we suspected she ovulated (we suspect either the 21st or the 23rd).God even allowed me to look directly at the sun in the dream it was truly a blessing.

I will know for sure that she's pregnant on the 1st through the 4th maybe the 5th when a pregnancy test confirms it for 100% but ive been getting the feeling that she was going to get pregnant with our daughter Eva this month for a long time now. Anyway, keep us in your prayers we applied for weatherization for our trailer because eva is going to need it it's constantly 58-62 degrees in our trailer and Jeanette and I deal with it but a newborn Infant cannot and ive been praying for God to help me find a way to deal with that situation I'm VERY concerned for Eva.

My parents don't share the same concern and they're the only ones with the money to do it because my sister is just as poor as me and would gladly help me but her and her husband make more than me but she also is trying to take support her two kids. So I'm trying to get the government to pay for it since it's really my only option. I cannot possibly save up $7,000-$10,000 in 9 months it's totally unrealistic my wife doesn't even make 35k a year so yeah totally unrealistic. Anyway, there's just so much preparation involved and I feel overwhelmed and I need some advice. Especially advice on how to raise my daughter Christian and how to keep her in the faith. That would be appreciated.

Discussion Born again by prayer and or the laying on of hands?

I became interested in my salvation as a youth and church shopped. I found a church where I got help. I said the sinner's prayer but had not been born again. Then I went for fifty alter calls but was not born again. I wanted a heart full of love and to overcome sin. I stopped going for most alter calls. There had been prophetic words and words of knowledge on being born again. "Reach out and take the Kingdom that comes from above into your heart." "Open your heart." "It is not by power or might but by my Spirit says the Lord. That will open your heart." Then after a preaching by Ps Bruno Knutzen I went forward and he laid hands on me, said "the Holy Spirit is coming into you. There it is", and I fell to my back. Later I surrendered and became meek.

Does anyone else testify on the way they were born again? Benny Hinn teaches you can't be born again with the laying on of hands. I am free to disagree. It may be that there are hundreds of thousands even millions of African and American... believers who have so missed the new birth. It could be a grand follow up mission behind Reinhard Bonnke...

When your politics overrides your faith.

When your political allegiance decides not only your vote but who your friends are, when it makes you cut off those who have a different politics, when it makes you willing to tolerate a moral bankrupt as your candidate and to vote for him or her, when your politics begins to substitute for your theology, when it decides your moral values then is it right to call yourself a Christian?

FBI searches Fulton County (Georgia) election hub in connection with Trump's 2020 election loss

FBI searches Georgia county election hub in connection with Trump's 2020 election loss

The FBI told NBC News that it was "conducting court-authorized law enforcement activity" at the Fulton County Election Hub and Operation Center, while the FBI's Atlanta field office confirmed the activity and said an "investigation into this matter is ongoing so there are no details that we can provide at the moment."

Speaking last week at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, President Donald Trump repeated his false claim that the 2020 election was “rigged” and said that “people will soon be prosecuted for what they did.”

Two Georgia election workers who were smeared by Trump allies — Ruby Freeman and Wandrea “Shaye” Moss — were harassed and received a torrent of threats after they were falsely accused of participating in a voter fraud scheme. Rudy Giuliani, the former New York mayor who boosted Trump's false election claims, accused the duo of passing USB drives “like vials of heroin or cocaine," when in fact they were passing a ginger mint. The duo were awarded $148 million in damages after a 2023 trial, and Giuliani satisfied the judgment in 2025.

Call upon the Name of the Lord and you shall be Saved.

Joel 2:32awhosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord will be saved.
Context – verse 31….before the coming of the great and terrible Day of the Lord. Verse 32b …on Mt Zion and in Jerusalem there will be a remnant as the Lord has promised.

Romans 10:13 Everyone who calls on the Name of the Lord shall be saved. Context: Verse 12 There is no distinction between Jew and Gentile, because the same Lord is Lord of all…. Verse 14; People must first be converted to Christianity and have faith in God.

Acts 2:21 Everyone who calls on the Name of the Lord on that day, shall be saved. Context: Verse 19-20 I will show portents in the sky and blood, fire and smoke on the earth, The sun will be darkened and the moon like blood, before that notable Day of the Lord, comes. Verse 22: Men of Israel; [My faithful peoples] hear Me…..

1 Corinthians 1:2 To Gods Church in Corinth, dedicated to Christ Jesus and called to be His peoples, along with all who invoke the Name of our Lord wherever they may be; their Lord as well as ours.

Psalms 116:5-13 Gracious is the Lord and full of compassion. He preserves the simple hearted, when I was in distress, He saved me. My heart is at peace once more, for the Lord has granted me full deliverance. I am rescued from death and I will walk in the Presence of the Lord, in the land of the living. I will take the cup of Salvation and call upon the Lord by Name.

It is when disaster strikes, we are told to call to our Lord and Saviour. When He sends His fiery wrath to destroy His enemies and there will be dramatic things in the sky, terrible earthquakes and extreme heat. Isaiah 43:1-2 is His Promise to those who put their trust in His protection: Have no fear, for I; the Lord, has redeemed you, I will call you by name, you are Mine. When you pass thru water, I will be with you…Walk thru fire and you will not be burned.

What should be patently obvious, is all this has nothing to do with our Salvation, or the glorious Return of King Jesus. It all refers to the next Prophesied event; the Sixth Seal Day of the Lords vengeance and wrath, graphically described in over 100 Prophesies. Just as the sequence in Revelation shows us.

First the great test of our faith, a Day of worldwide disaster which will destroy our modern infrastructure, along with the destruction of all the ungodly peoples in the Holy Land. Then: further testing and the punishment of those who follow the ‘beast’= Satan, in the Great Tribulation of the 7 Trumpets and 7 Bowls.

Only those peoples who have proved their faith will go with Jesus into the Millennium.

I will speak out on misogyny

"Previously England's chief nursing officer, Dame Sarah had started the day as Bishop of London, a post she had held since 2018.

"It is fair to say that I have, both in my secular role, as well as in the Church, experienced misogyny at times," she said.

Though Dame Sarah acknowledged that throughout her ministry she had received support from many men, she said she had also learned that issues of misogyny needed to be "brought into the open", something she would do more."

New Archbishop of Canterbury Dame Sarah Mullally says she will speak out on misogyny

Ezekiel 23 and the NIRV Bible for Kids

Ezekiel 23 has a lot of shocking sexual language.

Especially 23:20...

Though in the KJV it is pretty tame: (using euphemisms)
"For she doted upon their paramours, whose flesh is as the flesh of asses, and whose issue is like the issue of horses."

The NIRV uses much more clearer language:
"There she had longed for her lovers. Their private parts seemed as big as those of donkeys. And their flow of sperm appeared to be as much as that of horses."

[note these forums seem to be replacing a word with "sperm"]

Anyway I used AI to make songs quoting lyrics like Ezekiel 23 but Steam says "it contains Adult Only Sexual Content". But the NIRV Bible for Kids is aimed at kids and it contains "Complete text of the New International Reader's Version, written at a third-grade reading level just for developing readers".

So what do Christians think about the passage and how suitable it is for children?

Here's the entire chapter from the NIRV translation:

I was surprised that even verse 20 was there but that whole passage goes on for 49 verses.

Though the GNT (Good News Bible) has this for verse 20: (which ignores some of the original meaning)

"She was filled with lust for oversexed men who had all the lustfulness of donkeys or stallions"

Catholic Priest Who Worked With Alex Pretti Says He Was Known for ‘Kindness’

The man shot and killed by federal agents in Minnesota was also known for his ‘gentleness.’

A Roman Catholic priest who worked with Alex Pretti, the man shot and killed by federal agents in Minnesota, said he was known for his “kindness” and disputed the narrative of top Trump administration officials that he was a violent “domestic terrorist” and would-be assassin.

Pretti, an ICU nurse, was shot while filming federal officers on a Minneapolis street on Jan. 24.

The incident marked the second shooting death by federal agents in the city. Renee Good was shot and killed on Jan. 7 by a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent.

Father Harry Tasto, who worked with Pretti for 10 years when he worked as a chaplain at the Veterans Affairs hospital in Minneapolis, spoke about the nurse’s life during a Sunday evening Mass at the Basilica of St. Marybroadcasted by WCCO.

Low-Income Americans Switch Allegiance From Trump

I am grateful they are developing the wisdom to realize that upward mobility begins with voting for legislators and leaders who will give you a "hand-up," not a handout, as they climb the economic ladder. Higher minimum wages when you're in college, Pell Grants and student loans to help you finance it, and yes, birth control to help you plan to start your families when you have a little financial stability--all those are hands-up the economic ladder.

Mandami wants to disband critical Police unit.

Mamdani signals disbanding NYPD protest unit,

"Yes, I continue to believe that we need to disband the SRG, and I'm currently in conversations with the police commissioner about the ways in which we can do so that are operational, and I believe that we should do so not on the basis of any fiscal need, but frankly, on the need to decouple the counterterrorism responsibilities within the department from police response to First Amendment exercise," Mamdani told a reporter on Wednesday when asked about the matter.
The NYPD said on its website that the SRG "responds to citywide mobilizations, civil disorders, and major events with highly trained personnel and specialized equipment" and has "proven to be a critical asset during events like parades, protests, and the papal visit."
A city that has seen and still sees its fair share of chaos and attacks - the mayor want to disband a group that is highly trained and has proven to be a critical asset.

National Catholic Reporter: Catholics must decide if they serve Donald Trump or the Gospel - No one can serve two masters

After Pretti, an intensive care unit nurse at a Veterans Affairs hospital, was killed by a federal law enforcement officer in front of multiple eyewitnesses in Minneapolis Jan. 24, the Trump administration was quick to politicize his death.

Vice President JD Vance reposted Stephen Miller, who on X called Pretti an "assassin" who "tried to murder federal agents" — a statement that is not supported by any evidence.

Once again, Vance had the opportunity to call for peace and unity — to lower the temperature of the situation and express empathy with those suffering and mourning. Vance, fresh off a speech at the March for Life, could have leaned into his supposed pro-life beliefs and called for respect for human life at every stage. In fact, that would have been the Catholic response — that's how the bishops themselves responded in their statement.

As a Catholic, Vance could have chosen to share the Gospel message of healing and human dignity. Instead, he chose to offer the MAGA message of division and blame.

"This level of engineered chaos is unique to Minneapolis. It is the direct consequence of far left agitators, working with local authorities," he wrote on Jan. 24.

Vance's comments are once again a moral stain on our collective witness of Catholicism — but they are no longer surprising. Given its scandal, the vice president's cafeteria Catholicism must continue to be repudiated by people of faith.

[Vance is not alone within Catholicism.]

Fr. James Altman, a prominent MAGA priest who is no longer allowed to preach publicly, demanded that "everyone who interferes with Law Enforcement should be crushed in the arrest and thrown in the Gulag. They are criminals and it is time to start treating them as such," while repeating, "NO MORE MERCY."

A Catholic priest online advocating against mercy. Jesus wept.

I miss the place of my birth... =(

I've only felt like this a handful of times in my life, but I miss the place of my birth! It's like feeling homesick. I want to take a pilgrimage and go back to it.

I was born on the Space Coast of Florida in a tiny town called Palm Bay. My little sister was born there too.

I haven't been to Palm Bay in over 30 years! I am really starting to miss it; I view it as my real home. And the beaches I grew up playing on when I was a kid... =( And the fishing was incredible too. =D

Have any of you ever felt this way about where you were born?

Where were you all born anyway? Maybe we got some city slickers on here? Lol. ^_^

ICE Unloads

Immigration officers speak out: “Freak this.” (except it's not "freak")

“The best they can do is shoot the guy in the back?” That’s not the voice of some liberal commentator. That’s what a homeland security officer told me this weekend, one of over half a dozen who have reached out to express their alarm over the killing of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis and beyond.
I’ve listened to the stories and the beefs of immigration officers in Minneapolis across the country, and to a person, they all blame the shooter, one of their own. The major media is stuck on framing the killing of Alex Pretti as some national and partisan battle, highlighting Republicans breaking ranks, the NRA protesting, MAGA wavering, and Chuck Schumer doing whatever he’s doing, but no one is really capturing what the federal law enforcement officers on the ground are thinking. The truth is that they’re fed up and have been for weeks.
They paint a picture that is more Police Academy (or even Reno 911!) than a Gestapo on the march. Yes, they agree that Washington is a huge problem and are uncomfortable with the mission creep that is taking them away from actual immigration enforcement. But internally? Theirs is also a story of gung-ho 19-year-olds, drunken stakeouts, and senior officers disappearing into meetings and all of a sudden needing time off.
They are also frustrated with the narrative unfolding and the information war being waged from Washington, including the flamboyant defense of the shooting and other controversial moves on the ground.
“As much as I support this administration there needs to be more common sense in situations like this, not a knee jerk damage control narrative that does not line up with the evidence on video,” one Border Patrol agent said in a private chat group that was shared with me. “This individual was shot 8 to 9 times while unarmed.”
“We can’t always support what happens just because it’s one of us,” he adds.
An ICE agent was even more critical. “Yet another ‘justified’ fatal shooting … ten versus one and somehow they couldn’t find a way to subdue the guy or use a less than lethal,” the agent said. “They all carry belts and vests with 9,000 pieces of equipment on them and the best they can do is shoot a guy in the back?”
Overall, as someone who has been covering this for months, I am struck by how angry homeland security officers are with their own agencies, and their blunt dismissal of the Washington leadership. All of the immigration officers I interviewed for this story spoke on the condition of anonymity.
Sagging morale and declining standards are a constant theme I picked up, problems that these sources say have been festering long before the deaths of Pretti and Renee Good (and ones that very much contributed to these outcomes).
More than one ICE agent in particular complained about how Washington’s focus on labeling protestors as “impeding” federal functions (and thus breaking the law), and the vilification of “Antifa” and others labeled paid agitators, leftists, radicals, extremists, and terrorists is confusing the ranks while also distracting everyone from the immigration enforcement mission.
“I can go on and on but overall it’s been a ridiculous experience,” one ICE agent told me. He says that many agents on the ground are just going along with the expanded mission because they are more interested in their away-from-home per diem pay and collecting overtime than whatever the mission is.
Others express the cynicism typical of everyone who toils at the bottom of any bureaucratic food chain, pooh-poohing rapid expansion of the ICE army and shaking their heads over the ridiculous budget increases being fought for in Washington that will have no impact where they work.
“The brand new agents are idiots,” an experienced ICE agent assigned to homeland security investigations told me. This same sentiment was echoed by virtually everyone I talked to, with several conveying the view that Pretti’s death was the fault of some skittish young recruit who panicked when he heard the word “gun” (if that’s what happened).
Even one of the new ICE recruits agreed with the experienced agent’s low assessment of the Trump freshman class. “A lot of the guys,” he said, referring to the new ICE recruits he worked alongside, “are honestly pretty sketchy.”
The new ICE officer continued: “I thought federal agents were supposed to be clean cut but some of them pass around a flask as we are watching a suspect,” observing as well that the new guys “have some weird tattoos.”
Those tattoos, I’m told, are symbolic of the fact that the new recruits tend to be more ideologically motivated than those of the past. This problem is compounded by the fact, raised by several officers, that ICE is relying on volunteers to go to Minneapolis and other Democratic cities on these temporary deployments. This tends to favor new recruits and those who are chasing overtime pay. --HERE

It's apparent experienced ICE agents are not the who are quick to volunteer. It's the, how did one ICE agent put it, those new recruits straight out of Police Academy or Reno 911. That's whose roaming the streets gung-ho to stop brown people who speak with an accent; simply because they can. Not only public assassinations, but you get incidents like this:

ICE Agents Attempt To Enter Ecuadorian Consulate In Minneapolis, Triggering Geopolitical Row

ICE has it's place. It has it's obligations. What they are doing is not it.

The FACE Act is a weird, incredibly unjust law. I've gone to jail for it

A group of anti-ICE protestors entered Cities Church in St. Paul, Minn., and disrupted the service on Jan. 18, chanting anti-ICE slogans and berating congregants for tolerating the arrest of illegal immigrants in the Twin Cities. The next day, conservative media was aflame with outrage, and now there is talk that President Trump’s DOJ will charge the protestors with violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act.

That got my attention, and not in a good way. I’m one of only a few dozen people in America who have ever been convicted of FACE. In 2022, in retaliation for a peaceful anti-abortion rescue that I was accused of organizing, President Joe Biden’s DOJ arrested me at gunpoint and charged me with FACE and Conspiracy to Deny Rights (a possible 11-year sentence). In 2023, along with nine others, I was tried and immediately sent to federal prison. I would have served up to 34 months had President Trump not pardoned all of us one year ago. This is what these protesters are looking at, should Trump decide to invoke FACE.

You might think I’d be happy to see him do that. But you’d be wrong.

The FACE Act is a weird, incredibly unjust law. It makes it a federal crime to injure, intimidate, or interfere with anyone trying to obtain “reproductive health services” (i.e., abortion) or anyone attending a “place of religious worship,” and imposes outrageous sentences on violators. It was created by pro-abortion Democrats to crush the rescue movement of the 1980s and early 1990s, when thousands of pro-life people were peacefully blockading the doors of abortion clinics and saving countless lives. The church provision, I believe, was added to placate conservatives in Congress, which it did. Thirty-four Republican traitors, including Sens. Mitch McConnell and Arlen Specter, joined Democrats to pass FACE by sizable majorities in both houses. It was perhaps the biggest betrayal of human life ever perpetrated by American politicians.

Man paints over heretical billboard to read 'Jesus is God' in viral video

Is it vandalism or evangelism?

A viral video making its way across social media shows a man painting over a heretical billboard campaign in California, altering the message to read, “The Bible says … Jesus is ___ God.”

The undated video shows an unidentified man atop a billboard platform with the Los Angeles skyline behind it as he paints over the word “Not” in the ad’s “Jesus is Not God” message, transforming the billboard into a proclamation of faith.

World’s Last Chance, the group behind the billboard, claims the message is part of “four billboard themes that dare to shatter the chains of long-held misconceptions.” In addition to the Jesus billboard, which adds the text, “Jesus did not pre-exist in Heaven,” the group’s website lists three others, including one that attacks Trinitarian theology and another promoting the so-called “flat earth” theory.

Democratic Ohio Attorney General candidate Elliot Forhan announced a plan to execute President Donald Trump, following a hypothetical trial and guilty verdict, in a video posted to X on Tuesday.
In the viral video Forhan stated that he would pursue the president’s conviction, resulting in capital punishment.
“I want to tell you what I mean when I say that I am going to kill Donald Trump,” Forhan stated. “I mean I’m going to obtain a conviction rendered by a jury of his peers at a standard of proof beyond a reasonable doubt based on evidence, presented at a trial conducted in accordance with the requirements of due process, resulting in a sentence, duly executed, of capital punishment.”
“That is what I mean when I say I am going to kill Donald Trump,” he ended.

Is lying ever alright?

Do you think lying is ever ok? If so, where do we draw the line between ok lies and bad lies.

I think it's ok to lie about thing like saying you're busy and can't come to something when tou really dont wanna go. Or if a friend cooks you a meal and its bad but you say its good. Or saying you like a gift a perosn got you but its something of no use to you.

I think lying is fine in social deduction games like among us. As anyone playing those knows the games will involve being lied to.

However, lies that cause harm (like fraud, politics, scams) are never ok.

The General State of America

Why are we here?

Helen Andrews wrote an interesting article about this: The Great Feminization | Compact.

Here is a video of her talking about this: Helen Andrews | Overcoming the Feminization of Culture | NatCon 5 - YouTube

Short answer: Women brought us here.

Women gradually reached a tipping point in many of America's great institutions. Then they started throwing their weight around. I asked Grok AI, based on the NatCon 5 transcript, what is the difference in thinking between women and men?

-----
Grok AI: According to the transcript of Helen Andrews' speech at NatCon 5, women and men tend to think and approach moral reasoning differently in general (on average, with overlaps and exceptions for individuals), drawing on established psychological distinctions:
  • Women tend toward an "ethics of caring":
In moral judgments, women are more focused on context, relationships, empathy, and how decisions affect people emotionally or interpersonally. They prioritize preventing harm, maintaining cohesion, preserving feelings, and responding to subjective experiences (e.g., "How can you talk about rules of evidence? Can't you see she's crying?" in the Kavanaugh hearings example). This leads to greater emphasis on inclusion, safety, non-judgmentalism, and protecting others from emotional distress.
  • Men tend toward an "ethics of justice":
Men are more oriented toward abstract rules, facts, objectivity, impartiality, and universal principles. They ask, "What are the rules and what are the facts?" even if the outcome is harsh or hurts feelings. This favors rationality, competition, hierarchy, risk-taking, and enforcement of laws/principles regardless of emotional impact.
Key examples from the transcript illustrating these differences:
  • Free speech vs. inclusion — Surveys cited show ~2/3 of men prioritize protecting free speech, while ~2/3 of women prioritize preserving an inclusive society (avoiding harm to feelings or groups).
  • Google memo (James Damore) — No one disputed the facts, but he was fired because his words might make female coworkers "feel bad" (empathy/relationships over objective accuracy).
  • Kavanaugh hearings — Masculine view: Lack of evidence means no career ruin; feminine view: Emotional testimony (crying) outweighs strict evidentiary rules.
  • Broader "wokeness" traits — Valuing empathy over rationality, safety over risk, conformity/cohesion over competition/hierarchy — all framed as privileging the feminine over the masculine.
Andrews notes these are aggregate tendencies (not absolute — many women align with justice-oriented thinking, and vice versa), but as institutions become more female-dominated, they shift predictably toward caring/relational priorities. This draws from Carol Gilligan's influential work contrasting "ethics of care" (more common in women) with "ethics of justice" (more common in men), though Andrews applies it critically to cultural/institutional changes.

In short: Women generally think more relationally and empathetically (people/context-focused), while men think more rule- and principle-based (facts/objectivity-focused).
-----

Why the priorities of women rise to the top.

Women dominate voting because there are more women and men's voting is split. More men at the top and bottom of society splits their vote a little bit. Like at a casino, a small edge over time means dominance. The priorities of women rise to the top.

What's wrong with dominance by women? Because national security is #20 on their list of priorities. Hence, millions cross the borders without a thought about national security issues. Currently, Germany can't even raise an army because Muslim men would be too great. Again, no thought about national security when letting millions of Muslim men enter.

IMO, because women dominate voting there is no undoing of the great feminization short of a big war.

Here is a concise summary of Helen Andrews' speech "Overcoming the Feminization of Culture" at NatCon 5, presented as key points:
  • Introduction to the "Great Feminization": Economist Tyler Cowen listed major revolutions in his lifetime (e.g., moon landing, fall of communism, internet, AI), placing the "great feminization" between the fall of communism and the internet — potentially more significant than others, though not widely recognized.
  • Definition: The increasing representation of women in societal institutions (political, professional, educational), unprecedented in human history — no prior society had women holding as much political and institutional power (e.g., parliaments never one-third female before; today, women lead major police departments, dominate law/medical schools, earn most bachelor's/PhDs, etc.).
  • Recency and scale: Often misdated to the 1970s; actual tipping points (from token to majority/parity representation) occurred in the last 5–10 years in many fields. Trajectories show steady increases from the 1970s pioneers to 20–30% by 2000, now often 40–50% or more (e.g., Supreme Court from 0% to near-majority female judges; Biden appointees 63% female).
  • Feminization dynamics: As women enter fields in large numbers, institutions reorient toward feminine preferences (empathy, caring, non-judgmentalism, safety, conformity over competition/hierarchy/risk). Examples: Psychology shifted from 70% male to youngest cohort 20% male as it became more "caring"-focused; literary fiction/publishing (80% female) produces novels men no longer read; men exit susceptible fields.
  • Link to wokeness: "Feminization equals wokeness" — wokeness as epiphenomenon of demographic feminization; prioritizes empathy over rationality, safety over risk, inclusion/cohesion over free speech/competition. Women less supportive of free speech (surveys: ~2/3 prefer inclusive society vs. men's free speech); ethics of caring (context/relationships) vs. justice (rules/facts). Examples: Google memo firing (hurt feelings > facts); Kavanaugh hearings (emotions > evidence/rules).
  • Controversial claims: Feminization not neutral — bad for key institutions (threatens rule of law via less objective judges; truth-seeking in academia via censorship; innovation/business via HR conformity; borders/immigration via emotional over legal enforcement). Thorough feminization risks civilizational collapse without rule of law, truth pursuit, borders, innovation.
  • Demographic vs. substantive feminization: Inevitable link — cannot have majority-female institutions without substantive shift to feminine norms/priorities (not enough women align with old masculine standards to preserve them fully).
  • Solutions proposed: No bans/discouragement of women in fields; instead, remove "thumb on the scale" favoring women — repeal anti-discrimination laws pressuring hiring/promotions/diversity (leading to unnecessary jobs/HR dominance, feminized "welcoming" cultures hostile to masculine traits); address two-income trap (economic pressures forcing dual earners) via policies enabling single-earner families, allowing natural choices to reduce feminization.
  • Conclusion: As a woman who values her career and disagreeable opinions, Andrews urges unselfish consideration — prioritize society's (and future generations') good over individual advantage, as excessive conformism/emotionalism harms open discourse and civilization.

Jesus Calls Women, Too

John 4:27-30,39-42 NASB1995: At this point His disciples came, and they were amazed that He had been speaking with a woman, yet no one said, “What do You seek?” or, “Why do You speak with her?” So the woman left her waterpot, and went into the city and said to the men, “Come, see a man who told me all the things that I have done; this is not the Christ, is it?” They went out of the city, and were coming to Him…
From that city many of the Samaritans believed in Him because of the word of the woman who testified, “He told me all the things that I have done.” So when the Samaritans came to Jesus, they were asking Him to stay with them; and He stayed there two days. Many more believed because of His word; and they were saying to the woman, “It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves and know that this One is indeed the Savior of the world.”

I just love this passage of Scripture! First, I love how Jesus spent time talking with this woman who he knew to be a Samaritan, who Jews usually did not associate with, who he knew to be a woman, and who he knew had had several husbands and the one she was presently living with was not her husband. He took time with her to gently explain to her the truth of who he was, and the truth of the gospel of our salvation, and what the future held for all who put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ to be Lord of their lives.

Not only that, but he intentionally asked her to call for her husband, knowing that she did not have a husband, but in order to open a further conversation with her with regard to what was coming next, after Jesus’ death and resurrection (although he did not specifically mention that). He let her know that the worship of God would no longer be in any specific physical location, but that we would worship God “in spirit and in truth,” in our inner beings, via biblical faith in Jesus Christ. And he let her know he was the Messiah.

But Jesus’ intention went beyond just sharing with her the gospel and to let her know that he was the Messiah, the Christ who was to come. For he who knew all about her knew that she would then go and tell the people of her town, including the men (or primarily or only the men), all about her conversation with Jesus, and that she would invite them to come and see the one who is the Christ. And he knew that, because of the woman’s testimony, that many people would believe in Jesus as the Savior of the world.

So, Jesus didn’t ignore her because she was a woman, or because she was a sinful woman, but he spoke with her gently, and he taught her the truth of the gospel, and then he used her to bring many more people to faith in Jesus Christ, because he knew that she would believe him, and that she would spread the good news to the people, including to men, and that because of her testimony many more people would trust in Jesus Christ to be Lord and Savior of their lives. And that is awesome!! She was willing!

And that truly ministers to me because I am a woman, and I did have a time in my life when I was out of the will of God, but God didn’t give up on me, and he brought me back, and then he sent me to the internet to share with the world the truth of the Scriptures and the gospel of our salvation, in truth, in the manner in which Jesus and his New Testament apostles taught it, and not how it is so commonly being taught today in a very twisted way which does not represent the true gospel of our salvation from sin.

And this ministers to me, too: For all the times in my life where I was walking by faith, and I was obeying God, which was the majority of my life, I kept getting mistreated by men, many of them serving as pastors, who had no regard for me, for I was a woman and I didn’t have credentials that made me important in their sight. And so some of them misjudged me because of my sincerity of faith in the Lord and my seriousness of purpose in speaking the word of the Lord, and many of them just cast me aside as a nobody.

But Jesus did not! He loved me! And he had a plan and a purpose for my life, just as he did for the woman at the well. And it was to use me to share the truths of God’s word with the people of the world, which includes men, via writing down what he is teaching me each day during my times spent with him in his word, and placing these writings on the internet for anyone to read who will read what the Lord gives me to write. So, although I was mostly rejected by men, God called me, and he is using me for his glory.
