Monarchs are the only insects to attempt such a massive trek as the one from Canada to Mexico—and the success of this butterfly’s 3,000-mile journey may come down to how many white spots are on their wings.

A new study by University of Georgia researchers suggests that the butterflies with more white spots are better at reaching their long-distance wintering destination.

Although it’s not yet clear how the spots aid the species’ migration, it is believed the spots change airflow patterns around the wings.

Lovato insists that aborting her child is about her survival. She also mocks the Christian faith, and dresses and dances as if she is a demon.

In the video, she also blasphemes Jesus and the Apostles at the Last Supper.

"Picture your faith, imagine your God and even your holy Bible / Is suddenly banned, do you understand? / Now doesn't that sound entitled? / It's your book, but it's my survival," Lovato sings.

This is probably my 4th or 5th dream about huge, sentient spiders trying to establish contact/dialogue with me.

One of those dreams is a test. A test to see my reaction in response to meeting completely unexpected creatures considering the fact that I have arachnophobia!

One of the dreams had my parents in it giving me a tour of this huge underground city inhabited by giant sentient spiders. The place is a massive hollow space carved into bedrock turned into a huge underground lake or river with an island in the middle with the city. The city itself is populated by classically designed houses and buildings that are seemingly Japanese in style and apparently built by its giant sentient spider residents.

The roof of the massive cave is lit by an unknown source of light that made the roof of the cave look like an overcast sky with a hint of green. It gave the whole place a bright source of light as the sun but not too bright, just perfect and it is gorgeous! Makes you forget the fact, you're probably miles deep underground! Even the climate is comfortable. A veritable undisturbed paradise on Earth.

As for the giant sentient spider residents. They don't look like our normal-sized terrestrial spiders. They stood upright on their four hind legs and is more or less "humanoid" in stature. They look more like a humanoid alien with four arms and they wore clothes. They have face like that of jumping spiders. Hairy and they look like a full bearded men wearing thick pair of reading glasses or round goggles. So they don't look even half as scary as our normal sized spiders although they're about as tall as an adult man.

They've built an advanced civilization though not as technologically sophisticated as we do, their capabilities are on par with ours or even better. They follow a social order that is vastly superior to ours. There is complete absence of crime and poverty in their society. Yes, they have evolved into social creatures unlike most terrestrial spiders we know of. And these race of spiders in particular are completely vegetarians!

In my last dream about them, they appeared to me in perfectly human form. Although they told me it was them, the spiders. They simply changed form in a way that is most comfortable to me. Otherwise, they can change their form into anything. The spider is simply their natural form.

This time, we talked about "real" matters and I asked them how they are able to communicate with me. They explained it was made possible by their "telepathic" version of what we have as the internet. They have telepathic link with all spiders in the world including all the small spiders we're so familiar with. The resulting telepathic network of all spiders in the world telepathically linked together forms their internet. Through that, they're able to see and hear everything that we do and I have reasons to believe they can access our internet as well through small spiders residing in servers and cables. It's amazing if you think of the fact, they possessed such advanced capability without having to use and depend on technology. In fact, their version is superior. They have 24/7 access to it with simply their minds. No gadgets needed which makes the system quite resilient and invulnerable.

They saw me and picked me for study. They told me I'm not like the others and wishes to know more about me and eventually to arrange a meeting.

But would I actually meet with them in person if all these actually turned out to be real?? I can only imagine them arranging to meet with me in a deep dark forest I frequently visit by bicycle in a place where people have gone missing and never to be found again.... Ofc with the knowledge, I'm meeting with giant telepathic spiders. What can go wrong right??

President Biden’s student debt forgiveness plan will finally see an end to its months-long limbo in the courts this week.

With repayments set to start again in October after a years-long pandemic-related pause, the Supreme Court’s forthcoming ruling on the legality of Biden’s proposal is the last piece of the student loan puzzle, offering a clearer landscape moving forward.


Many borrowers are fearful as the conservative-majority Supreme Court, which could make its decision known as soon as Tuesday morning, seemed skeptical of Biden’s plan during oral arguments in February.

While Democrats have tried to keep an optimistic tone, Biden himself has even shown skepticism at the idea the Supreme Court will rule in his favor.

The Paraclete is a special operation of the Holy Spirit. He is the Indwelling Spirit. The grammatical gender of the Paraclete is masculine. He enables us to hear God. I can sense him in my spirit anytime all the time. Every time that I do, peace fills me. I was born of the Paraclete. He is directly and permanently connected to my human spirit. This is not some spiritual metaphor but a spiritual reality. Eternal life starts now inside us. The last time I experienced any doubts about God was back in the 20th century.

The first time when I was born, a detached breath/wind/spirit of God entered me. That became my animating human spirit. The second time when I was born, the non-detached Paraclete/Spirit from God connected with my human spirit and permanently dwells there. The latter is a spirit-to-spirit connection.

I was told that an lgbtq group filed suit against the sign company and against the church - to stop them from using "their flag" - claiming that the rainbow in scripture has apparently been legally/successfully/in-perception-only highjacked by the lgbtq community and Christians are not allowed to use it to claim that the Gospel frees people from sin and rebellion.

So, I looked up this word “unwholesome.” The word means: rotten, worthless, useless, corrupt, depraved, unfit for use, putrid. Synonyms: tainted, polluted, immoral, unethical, dishonest, crooked, shady, fraudulent, perverted. The opposite of this is: honest, decent, moral, and upright.

And the Lord gave me an example of this, which I will personalize:

An example of this unwholesome talk or corrupt communication is: Someone pretending to be on my side, pretending to be my friend, pretending to be supportive of me so that I would now trust that person, but what this person is really trying to do is to get me to support the opposition, my adversary, my enemy, my rival. So it is deceptive and manipulative, trying to make me feel accepted so that this person can get me to support the enemy.

And as I read back over that example, the Lord brought to mind the fact that we have, at least here in America, many men (and some women) who serve as pastors of church congregations (or of what is falsely called “church”) who are “sucking up” to the people (trying to win their approval and good opinion by praising them insincerely) in order to gain their trust so that they can get them to support and agree with what is not of God and what is opposed to Christ and to the cross of Christ.

So what they are doing is immoral, shady, unethical, dishonest, and crooked. For they are trying to convince the people that they are on their side and that they support them in what they are doing. And they may even give the impression that they are on the side of truth and righteousness, and that they are on God’s side, but while they skillfully and dishonestly and craftily scheme in finding ways to lead the people to support what are the lies of the enemy, thus supporting the opposition.

So, this “unwholesome talk” is not just crude and foul language. This is about underhanded schemes to lie to people and to make them feel good, so they will feel that they are being supported and agreed with only to then turn around and behind their backs scheme in how to convince them to now come around to the ways of the opposition and to give their support to what is not of God. And so they won’t lie to you outright. They will use misimpressions (indirect lies) to deceive you into accepting the lies as truth.

And an impression is “an idea, feeling, or opinion about something or someone, especially one formed without conscious thought or on the basis of little evidence” (source: Oxford Languages). So a misimpression is a willful and deliberate attempt to get someone to form an idea or opinion about something or someone that is a lie, but it is an indirect lie, and indirect lies are very difficult to prove for they are not outright. They are more like suggestions to the subconscious mind, but they are successful.

So, when this tells us that we should not let any unwholesome talk come out of our mouths, this goes beyond just using language that is considered offensive to the bulk of the population. And I apologize in advance if anyone found “sucking up” offensive, for I did look it up, and I did not find it to be a generally understood offensive term. For it just means to give insincere praise to people in order to gain their approval and good opinion so that you can lie to them in an underhanded way for deceitful purposes.

And the point of this is that “unwholesome talk” goes way beyond just what is offensive to the general populace to using underhanded schemes as a way to lie to people to where they don’t realize they are being lied to but to where they will accept the lie as truth in their subconscious which will eventually move its way to their conscious mind without them even realizing what is taking place. So, we must not be dishonest people who use misimpressions (indirect lies) in order to deceive other people.

Instead, we are to be those who are speaking the truth in love, one to the other, to help one another to grow in our walks of faith to maturity in Christ, and so that we aren’t led astray by these charlatans and wolves in sheep’s clothing who are deceiving the people in underhanded ways into believing the lies as though they are truth. We, as followers of Christ, are to be people of integrity who do not lie to people, in practice, either outright or in backwards, deceptive, and underhanded ways. So always tell the truth!

Who and why, good idea or?

This will be a little long, but I have been in a crisis of faith.

I’ve lived a life of greed, sloth and material good, as well as being an atheist. In April, I joined my wife’s church after realizing God is real and Jesus died for my sins, but that was the extent of my knowledge (I was baptized at 10, as I was crazies Christian and went to various Christian schools, but removed God from my life after I graduated).

I was baptized again in her church and felt I was saved. I did repent to God of my life, and confronted some people I needed to after I was baptized. I stopped smoking weed, stopped porn and repaired my relationship with my mom (honour the father and thy mother).

However, I was doing some strange things (I had been developing a table top rgp before my conversion). I was thinking I could understand what God wanted me to do by asking him questions and judging the time and how numbers added up. I told you, some weird behavior.

I’ve realized that is messed up and have tried to stop doing it. I have been reading the Bible, and really enjoy Acts. But a lot has happened in the weeks since the middle of April.

But I have developed insomnia, have had a few satanic dreams, since from the confusion of intellectual faith vs real faith, with some sermons saying all you need to do is believe in Jesus and you are saved, while others say “nope, gotta do works”. But then I read that works don’t matter. I’ve even donated to help a stranger and a few donations to charities, but I can’t tell if that is from the heart, out of fear or if it even matters (cause works don’t save you).

I’ve been seeing 9 (Bible says that means judgement) everywhere. We play a card came called play 9 (after golf) and all my individual scores could be added to nine. When I realized the last score would, I purposefully messed it up. Then the next day playing it with my wife, the last box was 63; which adds to 9.

I’m in a terror. With lack of sleep, repeating numbers, sermons that say just believe, while others say it is more than that, along with how can I tell of my faith is faith or mental. Then to top it off, the Lion Of Judah on YouTube says God doesn’t even care about your reading the Bible, going to church or any of that, he just cares about what is in your heart.

I am so, so very confused. And because of certain requirements (appointments for my wife, my mom and dog obligations), I dont know how to fix the sloth part of my life; which means I am still living in sin. I can’t just give all my money away without abandoning my obligations in order to not be like the rich man in hell.

God isn’t answering my prayers. I am in a fright he has stopped listening to me and has already judged me. How do I get back on the right track? I believe Jesus Christ is God, came here to spread the Word, was crucified, died and resurrected for our sins. But, is that just mental knowledge?

Not to mention, since I basically became an atheist after years of removing God, that makes me guilty of apostasy; which I have asked God to forgive after my second baptism.

How do I fix this? How do I fix my relationship with God?

I am sorry this message is so screwed up; I need help.

I know that I have my own freewill. I just don't know how to define the term operationally

Exodus 35:29 All the Israelite men and women who were willing brought to the LORD freewill offerings for all the work the LORD through Moses had commanded them to do.

The Bible assumes the existence of freewill without defining it. Dictionaries provide some lexical definitions of "freewill". For me, to use the term free will in a logical argument, I need a precise operational definition. An example of an operational definition can be found in Wiki.

Let D = the operational definition of freewill. Given an agent x, D(x) = {yes, no}.

Show me a D that will answer whether x has freewill or not, so that anyone can apply this definition to x and recognize whether x is an instance of freewill or not. The definition should be objective enough that no matter who applies it to x, the answer is the same.

Your definition must be consistent with the following:

1 Corinthians 7 talks about freedom and will:

37 But the man who has settled the matter in his own mind, who is under no compulsion but has control over his own will, and who has made up his mind not to marry the virgin—this man also does the right thing.

A similar concept is expressed in (BSB) Philemon 1:14 But I did not want to do anything without your consent so that your goodness will not be out of compulsion, but by your own free will.

Philippians 2:13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.

Ephesians 1:5 he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will,

Make sure your definition can answer the following:

Does Satan have freewill?
Did Pharoah in Exodus 9:12 have freewill?
Does a sophisticated AI have freewill?
Does a dog have freewill?
How about a fish?
After the resurrection of all the dead, will anyone have freewill?

Alternatively, instead of "freewill", one can speak of "sovereign volition" or "independent will".

How old was this wine?

If you asked the human observers/witnesses, the servants would say a few seconds old.

The story continued:

9 and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside 10 and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.”

If you asked the expert, the banquet master, "How old is this wine?" He would say it was months or even years old.

So which answer is true?

Both are true, depending on the perspective. The supernatural perspective tells us that it was only a second old. The natural perspective tells us that it was at least some months old.

Similarly, in Genesis 1:

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

In the beginning, God created a 5-dimensional universe, 4-dimensional space-time, plus 1 spiritual dimension with dark matter and dark energy.

How old is the earth?

If we ask an astronomer from a natural perspective, he can only study present-day physical data based on scientific calculations. It is 4.5 billion years old. That's the scientific 4-D space-time perspective.

On the other hand, from the supernatural angle, if we read the passage literally, the present-day earth is only some thousands of years old. That's the biblical witnessed-time from the 5th-dimensional perspective.

So which answer is true?

Both are true depending on the time perspective. God created the earth with the embedded evolutionary records of billions of years of real history. The Bible is not a scientific treatise. It focuses on the story of redemption. In terms of witnessed-time history, it is only some thousands of years old. On the other hand, from the scientific point of view, the earth is billions of years old.

This is different from Last Thursdayism because God tells me the contrary. God did not create the universe last Thursday. Genesis contradicts this. I can also contradict this. I was alive last Thursday. God was with me. God dwells in me. It happened in real live-time. I didn't see God create this universe last Thursday. I believe in the words of God, not Last Thursdayism.

Jesus spoke about it as a historical witnessed-time event in Mark 10:

From the perspective of scientific time, the details of this embedding are amazing:

• 24,000-year-old animal found alive, well, and ready to reproduce
• Fossils reveal what may be the oldest known case of the dino sniffles.

There are two different frameworks of time. Basically, witnessed-time started when Adam opened his eyes. On the other hand, space-time is measured by scientific calculations. Both are physically or spatially real in their respective frameworks of time. Even scientifically, there is something funny about time.

I am reading in Psalms 37 this morning. I am going to break this up a little bit for this is contrasting the wicked with the righteous, and so I am going to look at these separately.

The Wicked
Psalms 37:12-15 ESV


Now, first I want to state that the wicked are all who make a practice of sin, who walk in sin and not in righteousness. They are all who make evil their practice, who do not submit to Christ as Lord. And although some (or many) of them profess faith in Jesus Christ, they find the Christian walk of faith a chore, a bother to them, and not something they really want to do.

For these are people who are morally unclean, who are liars, deceivers, and manipulators, who take advantage of others for their own sinful pleasures. They are not trustworthy people, for they are fakes and phonies, who make pretenses of righteousness for the approval of others, but who are still living for themselves. They are lacking in spiritual discernment and good judgment, for they are still following the flesh and not the Spirit of God.

Although many of them know the way of righteousness, and they may even give lip service to it, at times, they are dragging their feet when it comes to actually putting into practice what they know they must do. For they resist the Spirit, and they spurn the walk of faith that the Scriptures define for us. And some of them are good at “playing church,” but they are living the opposite of the faith they profess.

And so many of them end up coming against those whose walk of faith in the Lord is genuine, i.e. they are opposed to those who do submit to Christ as Lord and who are those who are exercising true biblical discernment. And so they plot against the righteous in hopes to bring them down, for they hate the righteous, for they are also against the cross of Christ. For they want to be able to profess Jesus as Lord without making him Lord of their lives, and to call themselves “Christians” without becoming Christlike.

But if they remain in this state of mind, and if they never repent of their sins, and if they never submit to Christ as Lord and follow the Lord in walks of obedience, then it will not end well for them. For those who walk in sin will die in their sins. They will not inherit eternal life with God regardless of what faith in Christ their lips have professed. For, as followers of Christ, we must deny self, die daily to sin, and follow Jesus in obedience to his ways.

The Righteous
Psalms 37:3-7 ESV


This is how we are to live as followers of Jesus Christ despite what the wicked may or may not do. Our trust needs to remain in Christ despite our circumstances. We are to keep on following Jesus Christ and his ways even if all hell breaks loose against us, and it may. For Satan is our true enemy and he just uses other humans to do his dirty work. But Satan is the one truly out to destroy our lives in any which way that he can.

We have no real control over how other people treat us. They are being ruled by what is in their hearts, and only God has the power to change human hearts. But we can control how we respond to their treatment of us. And we can choose to trust God with our circumstances and to not worry what the wicked may or may not do to us. Even knowing that evil may be lurking around the corner, by the grace of God we can continue in faithfulness.

So, give your circumstances and your enemies over to the Lord and trust him fully with your lives. And keep doing the good that God called you to do no matter what happens. Don’t fret over what evil people may do to you, but just keep moving forward in obeying the Lord and in doing what he says. And believe that God is going to work all things together for good for those who love and obey him and who have been called according to his purpose.

I'm interested in politics but don't want to offend people. I have very strong feelings.

Anyone have a recipe where i don't have to peal the shrimp?

Like most people, I was saddened to hear the news of the five men that lost their lives in the Titan Gateway tragedy. My brother messaged me today to tell me that 500 people had drowned near Greece. I was really shocked and heartbroken. Being part Greek, naturally, it made me feel very sad for many who had lost their lives in this tragedy. I imagine drowning would be a terrible way to die. On my FB update, I made the comment, 500 people drowned near Greece along with the newstory. This was my friend's response. She always responds like this. I think she is a Calvnist. She doesn't show much compassion. I reminded her that there may have been saved people on that boat. Maybe children, too. I responded to her in love, but her constant slabs of bible verses really get to me at times.

This is her response to my FB update:-

For God will bring every act to judgement, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil." Also Isaiah Chapter 8 Verse 13. ' It is the LORD of hosts whom you shopuld regard as holy. And He shall be your fear, And He shall be your dread." And from the mouth of one of God's angels, in Revelation Chapter 14 Verse 7. " and he said with a loud voice, " Fear God, and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgement has come; worship Him who made the heaven and the earth and sea and springs of waters."

What is the function of christian doctrines, is it just so we can identify like-minded christians who express the same formula? Are we saved by doctrine? What is the relationship between doctrine and christian reality and experience?

Please pray Jesus Christ would carry out the following for you and us(Jung-won, Ui-seop, Ha-young, Ye-young, Eun-tae, In-sook):

1)Please set us and all those who are or will be related to us in anyway apart for holiness in the truth (your word), and please let them be gathered into heaven as our treasure without fail.

2)Lord Jesus, I ask you to make us all your true possessions. I want God to choose us as His peculiar treasure..

3) Here we send our delegation to the Jesus Christ the Lord and seeks terms for shalom with Jesus, and here we ask you to be our only King.

4) Sprinkle your water upon us, cleanse us from all our uncleanness and from all our idols. Take the stony heart out of our flesh and give us a heart of flesh, and put your Spirit inside us.(Ezekiel‬ ‭36‬). Grant us the true freedom you promised.(John8:32).

5) I ask that the Son of God designate us as those who directly reveal the Father God. As a result, we all hope to have true knowledge of the only God of truth and of the King Jesus Christ whom He sent.

6) Please send your angels and command that your intended harvest be accomplished among us.

7) Grant us the sole advocacy of the one and only God against our adversaries.

8) May all our flesh live to keep the commandments of Jesus Christ and witness the Salvation of Elohim.

9) Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

10) Lord Jesus, please take all that we have requested and make it your own work, and may it be fulfilled according to God's will, not man's. May the will of the true God, who knows all our needs, transcends our personal will. Please, directly reveal the name of God the Father to us that we may clearly see Your glory that comes from the only true God.
