The number of transgender-identified characters on TV is on the rise even as many of the shows on which they appear won't return next season, according to a report from an LGBT media watchdog.

The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation 2025 "Where We Are on TV" study found that while the number of transgender-identified characters increased slightly from last year, only four such characters appear on series that have been officially renewed for another season. This could open the door "for a potential huge decrease in transgender representation" in the next year, the group notes.

Across primetime scripted broadcast, primetime scripted cable and scripted streaming original series that premiered a new season between June 1, 2024, and May 31, 2025, GLAAD counted 489 LGBT-identified characters in total, a 4% increase, up from 468 characters counted in the previous season.

I have heard some people say this and sometimes it has offended me because I was always taught growing up that Christianity was the truth of Jesus Christ, not just another cult existing on earth. That it was the truth itself. As Jesus said: I am the way, the truth, and the life.

*Sigh* People are brought up in so many different ways it seems. If my way of life offends you in some way, don't come and tell me. Keep it to yourself. I know nonbelievers would accuse me of being "indoctrinated" by Bible Scripture, but I say to them: What's so wrong about that? You make it sound like having divine knowledge is a bad thing.

I am puzzled that anybody thinks that the fees for church marriage are anything to do with this situation. As if consistently making divorce easier for a hundred years or so has not made any difference, as if legalising weddings in pretty non-religious locations made no difference. Could they have simply suggested that the church could take charge of publicising the advantages of marriage, and go back to actively nurturing marriage?

Growing up I wasn't allowed to listen to secular music, but as an adult now I can pretty much do what I want. My parents were really strict born-again Bible believing Christians.

A short video I made about hope in the new year. In the midst of great trials, there is still much reason for hope!

I feel like we as God's people don't discuss him enough. He's our mortal enemy you know. Heck, he's everyone's enemy to be precise. I know what you guys are going to say: You're going to tell me that I should put my focus on Christ only but we don't talk about how to defeat the Devil should he come. I find this to be a problem. We have no battle plan, no strategy. We desperately need one.

We know he is the Evil One, the Son of Perdition as mentioned in the Bible. Does anyone on here know some good spiritual warfare practices? Sorry, but I'm not an expert in this area. Any advice and help would be appreciated.
