Blessed/Happy is he that reads, and they that hear/ShaMAh/understand the words of this prophecy, and keeps those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

According to this passage, if the message you get from reading the book of Revelations does not leave you Happy/blessed then you can rest assure you did not get it properly, but now what is truly terrifying is, that you still got something, just not the truth/light, which brings us to the question how dark is your darkness? where in Babylon we ask, how bright is your light?

It is only just in the past months that I finally realized that the burning up of the grass of the earth.....can be a metaphor for all flesh turning to the God of Abraham, our Creator with our whole hearts!!!!!!

There is an amazing effect when the leadership either of the head....politics or the tail......the religious leadership will themselves break away from their idols and set an example of humility!!!

King David got to the place where every little thing that he did.....every specific word he uttered in prayer.....and even his tone of voice when he said it.....had implications for an astonishing number of lives....at that time....and even down into our time period.

"How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! [If] I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.(Psalm 139)


The time is coming when entire nations that have been fully restored.....even the weaker ones will have a somewhat similar type of relationship with our Creator!

Zec 12:8 In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David [shall be] as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.

It also puts us in a Revelation time frame....

Rev 6:14 The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.

Actually the whole chapter 6 of Revelation gives a time frame of events leading up to the great Yom Kippur.

Rev 6:15 Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. 16 They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us[f] from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17 For the great day of their[g] wrath has come, and who can withstand it?”

Daq, what is your personal opinion regarding The Book of Jasher?

Myself, I am not really much of a scholar, but the story about Hagar being the daughter of Pharaoh Rikyon, who was the Solomon of his time period, would sure explain many things about the dynamic between Ishmael and Isaac!

if indeed Hagar, was a princess of Egypt.....then of course there would be tremendous pressure on Ishmael to get rid of the other heir, Isaac, in order to take number one spot. This certainly does not justify his decision to point his bow and arrow at Isaac, when Isaac was five years old.....but it does help us to explain the entire situation?!

If the Book of Jasher is accurate....at least in the story regarding the parentage of Hagar.....as well as in the event of Sarah seeing Ishmael point a bow and arrow at Isaac....then the events of Genesis make much more sense?!

But I am no scholar and I am curious what you think about that book that I am sure you have probably read many times?!

Visionary, do you think I am incorrect to feel that in a sense individual denominations that are obsessed over specific doctrines may be somewhat like caves that we tend to hide in?

If I remember correctly 1990 was probably the first year in which I had the chutzpah to hold my right hand up in the air and pray to the God of Abraham that I wanted Him to take me by the hand....and I told him that if He was going to take Gentiles who do not know Him by the hand.....then He had an obligation to take those of us who at least know something about Him...by the hand!!!

Horeb after Queen Jezebel threatened him. But didn't Moses/Moshe pray something to the effect of: "Oh that all the Lord's servants were prophets.?"

Whose words do you personally think will come to pass over the long run...the words of the people who attempt to nail down prophecy to having ended at a certain time period....or the words of the man who genuinely hoped for the day when the most feeble Jew...would be as King David....who certainly demonstrated an amazing prophetic gift through his Psalms!!!???

If a man says he is a prophet, you can pretty much take it to the bank that he isn't - at least not a prophet of the God of Israel.

Well Yedida, I believe we are close to the time period when the MOST FEEBLE Jew, will be stronger than King David, who was certainly a prophet based on the obvious level of prophecy displayed in the Psalms!


Zechariah 12:8

In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David [shall be] as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.

True, we aren't quite there yet....but we may well be closer than we imagine!

Now another thing is that I am biased toward the Catholic Bible being an inspired book that we stole from the Jewish people. It may not be quite as good as the 66 books of the Protestant Bible.....but it is certainly in that league and surely the words of Baruch the friend of Jeremiah would have at least some value for Protestants.

For my angel is with you: And I myself will demand an account of your souls.

It does seem logical that the Word/Logos would make something of a covenant with all humans to at the minimum do a review of our lives....and judge us.....based on some sort of criteria??!!

I am of the opinion that the question something to the effect of "What did you do with your life that you can show me" that so many people who have a brush with death report....could well be what Jeremiah's servant Baruch was referring to????!!!

After all...Elisha the servant of Elijah may have been trained how to do an out of the body experience that would give him insider information regarding the actions of the King of Syria????!!!

Just a theory!!

Moses/Moshe wanted ALL THE PEOPLE OF G-D TO BE PROPHETS.....The Pharisees wish to nail down the age of prophecy to a specific time period and no other....who is more likely to have their will done....Moses/Moshe....or the Pharisees????
