Yes! Its the only good answer that seems to work in the (How can it be fair equation) You see I have absolutely no doubt in the world that God exist, and His Son Jesus is Lord, and my struggle has been how could this possibly be fair, how could people have to simply go through life trusting by faith that He is real, and some people get first hand experiences that faith is no longer needed, I don't have faith God exist, I know He exist!.....somehow I think your right, more is going to be required from me knowing beyond all doubt, than those who live by faith........I would have to imagine when I tell my testimony it builds others faith, especially if they could see how sincere my heart is for those who have never even felt God's presence.
(Not to compare either of us or anyone else to Paul, I am just using Him and or the other Apostles as an extreme example to illustrate the point.)
What has been share with you and others like you is for more than simple salvation. You are on a track that goes beyond the Mustard seed faith that is required for a believers life. Understand this does not make you "better" just way, way, way
more accountable for your Words, thoughts, and deeds.
Why?
It is so you will know who you serve in the blackest trial, or during the most earth shattering tribulation you can imagine. Look at how Paul was introduced to his faith. Was what he given merely for his personal belief? Look at His trials, Look at His time spent in prison, look at his beatings, look at the times he was stoned, look at what he had, and how he died. Now look at what he accomplished. Now Ask yourself how was all of this possible?
Yes through the holy Spirit of God but look at the mechanics the Holy Spirit/God used to fortify this man. In Spending time with Christ (amonst other things) I am positive He understood the concept of God's complete love. (you can see it in his Words, thoughts, and deeds.) It was with this love that He found fuel to fight the good fight, to finish the race, to finish well. No matter what he faced.
My advise is to ask God to prepare you for what is to come and to give you the heart to ask for, and to embrace the coming storms so that you may get to the purpose that he has set you aside. I also suggest that you pray for not only Wisdom, but the humility required to use what you have been given.
You are approaching a cross roads, this is both an exciting and frightening time. You should be excited to see how far this rabbit hole goes, but at the same time change and all of the tempering you will face will be scary. In your darkest hour hold on to what you have been given, and know it is all for a purpose. If you are ever at a loss remember to ask seek and knock for the Holy Spirit as in Luke 11. We ask in prayer, we seek in church and places like this we knock by repeating this process till we get what our hearts asking and seeking. Learn/Know your Shepard's voice and do not be afraid to follow Him no matter where He leads you!
