According to your interpretation of scripture.Female clergy is unbibical.
According to your interpretation of scripture.
It's only crystal clear according to your interpretation. It is crystal clear. This is like denying women's modesty is stricter than that of men.
It's only crystal clear according to your interpretation.
I'm not talking about speculative theology like "what did Jesus look like"?
And the Bible does not say that women cannot be ministers or pastors according to my interpretation of scripture. You are, of course, entitled to your own interpretation.
There are 87 pages of discussion regarding female clergy here. Why don't you read through it before making such statements. Some things to remember:That's like saying homosexuality is okay.
It is crystal clear.
It is possible that clergy may be the matter that is lacking biblical substantiation.Female clergy is unbibical.
Spiritual authority over men is different.
Men disciple anyone, but women's discipleship only involves other women.

A woman was the first person to preach the Good News of the resurrection.
A woman is listed in scripture as having been a deacon.
A woman is listed in scripture as having been an apostle.
1:men can also decieve. Particularly from the pulpit.Example:Jim Jones. Is that to prevent deception? I'm talking about the rule on women and spiritual authority.

2:In 1st Timothy Paul seemed to be saying that (he) didn't allow women to teach or usurp (forcibly take) teaching the Torah(it was what was used for teaching in the 1st century church along with the synagogues) to men.And he didn't want them forcibly taking the role of teacher in any of the churches that he(Paul) founded.
As to the O.T priesthood rules.
1: At a certain time of the month anything that a woman touched would become ceremonially unclean. So she couldn't do the priestly duties regularly.Read Leviticus.
Jesus is the great "Purifier" example:the woman with the issue of blood touched His garment and became "clean".
It is Jesus who purifies and calls into ministry. It's our choice to accept those who is called.
Jesus has spiritual authority over men.He didn't have a problem with sending Mary and the woman at the well to tell people about Him.So if the spiritual head didn't have a problem with it...
Paul was trying to keep order in the church. That order is that man was created before woman.A husband has authority over his " own" wife.I can't say more right now because my break at work is over.Talk later...peace.
Mary preached the Good News of the resurrection to the disciples.Preaching to unbelievers is different than spiritual authority over other believers.
And the Bible isn't clear on the matter. So the issue is about God only wants one type of church leadership?
Obeying the Bible matters, not details, though.
Mary preached the Good News of the resurrection to the disciples.
And, again, scripture proivides us with examples of a female deacon and a female apostle. That isn't the same as pastoring.
It is possible that clergy may be the matter that is lacking biblical substantiation.
The role of the deaconess was to privately baptize other women.
It was not a teaching capacity.
Female apostles - didnt preach in the Church in place of the priests.
Women can teach... we just do not lead a church.
