You are both saying the same thing. Global warming can be a mixed blessing. You do have a longer growing season. But some plants cannot adjust to even one degree. For example some of the plants in the coral reef are dieing off because of the one degree increase in temps. King Crabs are moving into areas that were to cold before and eating so much as to upset the balance of that eco system. But for people who like to eat King Crabs the harvest is substantial. That does not seem to help the price though. They are still 300 feet down in what is cold water to us. So it is not all that easy to harvest them.

I'm sure there will be regions that do benefit, but only at the expense of others that may experience more drought or even too much rain. This is already being seen many regions around the world. The trouble with climate regions migrating is that it may not support the needed agriculture due to urbanization. No doubt that it is happening slowly, and that makes a lot of people unconcerned. Some estimates of sea level rise are as much as 6ft by the end of the century. That won't affect us, but it will the following generations.

You have the audacity to ask for evidence when you have failed to provide us with any!

If you want to play then play by the rules!
You don't get to make the rules. Science claims must come with evidence. No news there. Be honest.

Just out of curiosity, dad... do you ever get tired of repeating the same old tripe here over and over again? You never convince anyone of anything, other than maybe that you are nuts, or that creationists are all nuts. Is it just an ego thing?
I am not phased by the so called science ducks having truth water run off their backs, no. Have you ever considered trying to say something in your posts? Some of us would prefer to deal in actual facts and issues.

You are right dad. Science is EVIL ..
Right. It is the knowledge and speculation of evil sinful men, what else could it be?
Of course there are some good bits and even the less than great bits could be used by men with the heart of God, for some somewhat good things.....the main issue then is the heart.

Being a newbie here I know I've missed a lot in reading recent posts as it is not practical to read every entire thread I post in. From the past few posts by you and others, I gather you believe science is somewhat evil, but not all science. I would like to know specifically what "science" you consider evil.

Any so called science that opposes and exalts itself against the revealed word of God.

This being a global warming thread, do you consider climate science evil?
If it pretends to include old ages and climate records dated before 6000 years it is wrong, and baseless. If people try to run with what is wrong and baseless and oppose God and His revealed truth to man, that is evil.

So, according to you, all science is evil then. Gotcha.

When are you going to stop using all those evil products of science? Like computers?

Are you kidding? Such people who are anti science enjoy all the fruits of science on a daily basis! In my dictionary such attitudes are defined as Hypocrisy!;)

Science does not oppose God. It is your interpretation of God that opposes science. There are thousands of publications in Creationist literature that not only belittle science, but deliberately misrepresent it. Conversely, there is not one single paper published in the legitimate peer review scientific literature that says anything about God. Any conflicts you have with science are of your own making.

Ignorance is curable, willful ignorance is not. It's your choice. I am perfectly willing to accept your belief that the Earth is only 6,000 years old but I am not willing to accept deliberate misrepresentation of what is factually soundly and scientifically well supported.

Might I suggest that you focus on the Good of God and God has to offer us as revealed in Jesus' teachings during his short time on Earth, rather than seeing what "you" deem as evil everywhere. Focus on the positive, not the negative.

Exactly; Because science does not deal with the "unfalsifiable"!

I agree and to add; I shall never tire of pointing out that religion is a spiritually based faith and should not be confused with the physical world of empirical science!

Creationists IMHO do a disservice to Christianity when they try to dictate to science. Although I can understand and in many cases agree with religion when it comes to moral principles; like when some people misuse science to further their political or other goals; Nazism is a good example of this with their belief through eugenics that humans are not created equal.

Creationists seem to ignore the fundamental principles behind the teachings of Christ; Namely that of love, compassion, peace, forgiveness, and humility.

IMHO it is ignorance that drives creationism to its pursuit against science. Countless of scientists were and are religious people and they do not compare apples to transistors; Something creationists are very fond of doing!

Do any of the "creationist scientists", those who publish in Christian literature about a 6,000 year old earth, flood geology and so forth, post ever post or participate in these forums? I would love to chat with them if they do.

Imagine that, zero scientific evidence that God does not exist. No peer review scientific evidence that the Bible is not true. People like to throw their opinions around like it is peer reviewed scientific fact.
