The true danger is when people try to compel others to obey their religion, like the greenie weinies do. Jesus never compelled anyone that I recall....thank goodness for civilized kind behavior. You've no doubt heard the old saw: "Atheism is a religion like not collecting stamps is a hobby".

As for the "philosophy", well I can't really argue with that. It is a philosophical stance. I prefer to NOT reject the claim that something doesn't exist until evidence is shown that this is an appropriate stance.

Lots of double negatives in there because it's a subtlety of inferential logic, so I don't expect you to follow it. You're too busy posting the "bowing" animated gif aimed at whatever you are complaining about at any given time. At least this time it wasn't "CO2" like you usually post.

So yeah it is a philosophical stance and one that can be universalized across a wide variety of aspects of life.

If I am mistaken (a clear possibility since I never claim to have perfect knowledge) I at least used a rational system of judgement to arrive at my mistake knowing full well that there's a possibility of error.

If that displeases God then He shouldn't have made me this way and he shouldn't have developed inferential statistics as a means of analyzing claims.

But it is not within my power to understand His mysterious ways.
