Even among Christians, there's differences of opinion - some of which will have some overlap with the beliefs of non-Christians.

Without being too picky about it, non-Christians think 2+2=4 and that breathing oxygen is a good thing - doesn't mean I have to disagree with them by default just because they're non-believers.

Accusing someone of not being Christian is a specific rule, and it was specifically violated here.

The flame rule is something else.

Not saying it's not wrong, just a different situation. Although if you're trying to draw parallels, you can always...well...bring up the same accusations? Might be a bit more effective?

You seem to be under the mistaken impression that we are trying to make sense of your beliefs. At least I am not. The reason for me asking questions like that is to hear you attempt to justify your beliefs. When you can not do so (and you almost never can), that highlights for those not as dogmatically fixed as you just how ridiculous those beliefs are, thus "saving souls" in my own way.

The questions we ask should have no effect on your standards. If you have to alter your standards in order to answer a basic question like "That flood involved a lot of water, WHERE GO IT" then I'd say the problem is in your initial interpretations.

Of course, there is the other option, admit you don't know and maybe reconsider your interpretations, but somehow I get the feeling that's not for you.
