How does it do that?it shows the truth of this religion..if there are miracles then who taught and revealed this book or this religion
What heresy did I practice that prevented me from experiencing the true God or Jesus?
No, that's why I asked.
I don't know. I'm opening to observing a "true Saint" delivering me from my Buddhist devils.
one hint: one of the yogi(n)s that i knew many years ago said, "why must i care about my teen daughter, what can/will happen to her?!, i don't care, i have to continue with my self-realization" - isn't such a way of thinking (somehow) familiar to you (from somewhere)?!
Tried that for 30 years, without success, remember?it is better for you to find out what heresies you had/have practiced and (to) repent of them alone
No, I do not see that in early Buddhism. Our practitioners are not called yogis.one hint: one of the yogi(n)s that i knew many years ago said, "why must i care about my teen daughter, what can/will happen to her?!, i don't care, i have to continue with my self-realization" - isn't such a way of thinking (somehow) familiar to you (from somewhere)?!

That's craziness!!one hint: one of the yogi(n)s that i knew many years ago said, "why must i care about my teen daughter, what can/will happen to her?!, i don't care, i have to continue with my self-realization" - isn't such a way of thinking (somehow) familiar to you (from somewhere)?!

In all of my years with Buddhist, never have I ever heard or even seen that kind of thinking! And calling a Buddhist a "yogi"?...I don't think so.

With men this is impossible. No way they can accomplish this. Why do people seek "God"?
Buddhism explains our search in terms of dukkha (aka suffering, discontentment, displeasure, etc.). That is, because of dukkha, we seek out god(s), saviors, prophets, psychics, doctors, politicians, love, food, money, sex, sleep, entertainment, etc.
Why not address dukkha itself, as the Lord Buddha taught, instead of seeking to treat its symptoms? Dig out the roots (of dukkha), instead of endlessly snipping its offshoots.
That's craziness!!

Thanks for the warning. My experiences with Buddhism have only been positive. The only complaints I've heard from others are that some people do not like to meditate.hopefully everything will be alright, but my last advice is, be careful, just in case - i had bitter experience with such religions, and not only i

So basically from what I'm gathering, rather than seek God, your seeking everlasting life? Some people look to the future in regards to what will happen to them.
On the other hand, the ONLY religious people I've had bitter experiences with are those of the Christian religion, and not only I.i had bitter experience with such religions, and not only i
That's all find and dandy, but Buddhist aren't in the worshiping game. They do heal and feed the sick though.God punished israelites by having made them rove about wilderness for 40 years only because they made and worshiped an idol(golden calf) for no more than a few weeks, and each of the unrighteous religions has its own "wilderness", e.g. some shortage/deficiency of the heavenly fullness, for example some religions can't/don't heal the sick of any or certain kinds of invalidism/disease/disorder, others can't/don't cast the devils out of the demon-possessed people, etc. - it is (as it were) their "wilderness" occurring as a result of some, great enough, spiritual unrighteousness that they have systematically committed...
Please describe the narrow path, then? If you believe I didn't follow that correct path, then I don't know what else to try.maybe you had not tried well enough - especially if you had followed a human tradition of the "broad way"
My investigative thoughts indeed led me to Buddhism.may you be right in the eyes of the true One, but in your place i would better think twice, thrice, etc.
Blessings
How have you sought God, and how have you directly experienced it?With men this is impossible. No way they can accomplish this.
So they who are wise seek God. He sometimes helps men.
I agree ... I also find that the people who do not look forward to meditation more often than not have not established the prior groundwork for successful meditation. Thanks for the warning. My experiences with Buddhism have only been positive. The only complaints I've heard from others are that some people do not like to meditate.
