Why evolution should not be a religious issue

The subject is whether evolution should be ignored because it is irrelevant to a belief in a creator. That depends on whether theistic or atheistic evolution is being proposed. The concept taught in schools is totally atheistic. So naturally parents who teach their kids about an ID would be concerned.

ID is not scientific. It has been shown to be creationism in a cheap suit. It is illegal to teach in schools because it is religion, not science. That was shown to be the case in the Dover Trial.

Do you demand that your children be taught theistic gravity instead of the atheistic gravity that they are taught now?

Atheists are worried about Christian threats in the same way you are worried about Islamic or Hindu threats.

God already did.

It seems any answer or non-answer will do just as long as you're satisfied with it, which of course is what religions are all about, our own self satisfaction and gratification, if it pleases us we believe it if it doesn't we move on to one that does, delusion and self deception for the sake of peace of mind is the real name of the game.
