^^Lemme ask you why you cant be convinced??? Is it because you have heard and have a good understanding of rap and still dont like it. Or is it because you just simply dont want to even open your mind to it.

if you mean political rap in terms of artist like immortal technique. he actually happens to be a very good friend of mine. i only listen to "intelligent" rap now. my car doesnt even had radio stations set. i refuse to listen to the gimmicks and "artists" they are signing.

I've heard some of their stuff, they do have some good lyrics...but still the bulgar language to get the point across...I'm not a big fan of the bulgar language, but some poeple actually need that to get thier attention.:o

not only do i LISTEN to him. i hang out with him too ! he's going on his world tour soon. i'm going to miss that fool. shady records is currently interested in him. he is good friends with there head of A&R riggs morales. he recently did a show at club exit in nyc with, game, stat quo, dj green lantern and some other artists.

i'll tell you this much. my father created the "scared straight" program which some of you have seen on mtv. for those of you who haven't it's a program where they take bad teens and people who seem like they are destined to go to prison to an actual jail and have the inmates scare the life out of them and give them a reality check. all the inmates involved in the program are 25 to lifers and christians on top of it. but they curse there brains out during the program. why? it's the shock factor. some people really need to hear that to get the point across to them. me, vulgar language has no effect on me. i don't condone it but it's a proven fact i assume that it works. i guess it's steroids for your words or message.

ya, I don't watch MTV at all.
I stopped using vulgar language about 3 years ago...and I used to be pretty bad at it too. It makes me feel kinda weird when I see people much oder than me speak like an ignorant child...some poeple just never grow up.

The one thing I always remember, what ever the circumstance is 1Corinthians 16:14 "do everything in love". Keeping this in mind when ever I speak makes people take me more seriously, and even if they chose not to agree with my statement, I know that in some way it affects them...and leaves people thinking.
