^^Lemme ask you why you cant be convinced??? Is it because you have heard and have a good understanding of rap and still dont like it. Or is it because you just simply dont want to even open your mind to it.

I've heard some of their stuff, they do have some good lyrics...but still the bulgar language to get the point across...I'm not a big fan of the bulgar language, but some poeple actually need that to get thier attention.:o©opywrite said:if you mean political rap in terms of artist like immortal technique. he actually happens to be a very good friend of mine. i only listen to "intelligent" rap now. my car doesnt even had radio stations set. i refuse to listen to the gimmicks and "artists" they are signing.

You speak truth. Sadly most "real music" remains underground.©opywrite said:the music industry needs some serious![]()

ya, I don't watch MTV at all.©opywrite said:i'll tell you this much. my father created the "scared straight" program which some of you have seen on mtv. for those of you who haven't it's a program where they take bad teens and people who seem like they are destined to go to prison to an actual jail and have the inmates scare the life out of them and give them a reality check. all the inmates involved in the program are 25 to lifers and christians on top of it. but they curse there brains out during the program. why? it's the shock factor. some people really need to hear that to get the point across to them. me, vulgar language has no effect on me. i don't condone it but it's a proven fact i assume that it works. i guess it's steroids for your words or message.
The one thing I always remember, what ever the circumstance is 1Corinthians 16:14 "do everything in love". Keeping this in mind when ever I speak makes people take me more seriously, and even if they chose not to agree with my statement, I know that in some way it affects them...and leaves people thinking.DreadShip said:Also a good point but Stefania what do you use when your trying to get a point across
