What deeply bothers me Jane is that you said that Jesus is the only way to heaven and that you have been saved by Christ like I have been saved by Christ. By His blood which is atonement for all sin.
Yes, I did say that and I'll say it again because it is the Truth. It is this is the foundation of the Gospel and all Christain (including Mormon) beliefs. Christ and His sacrifice make our salvation possible: there is NO other way besides through Him. Without Him, everything else is for squat. You and I, both of us Christians, are in 100% agreement on this.
Mormons do NOT view Joseph Smith as Christ. Joseph Smith is just a servant, Christ is the LORD.
But then, your faith says that all Christians are in apostasy because we do not believe that JS is a prophet? You knew from the get-go I was very clear that I thought JS was a false prophet. And that one has to be a member of the Mormon church, which you know and I have made very clear that I would never be.
I know you're not a Mormon, and you know I'm not a non-demoniational: that's not a secret. It's not a secret we disagree on different on some things: we've spent 100's of posts the last months talking about them. We've also talked about things we do disagree on. None of this has been secret.
So the act was acting like we were the same in Christ, even though you do not believe that I would spend eternity with Christ.
TBL, I do think you have some false beliefs (this has been said many times other the last several months). Despite this,
I DO BELIEVE YOU HAVE A VERY NICE PROBABILITY OF BEING WITH CHRIST IN THE ETERNITIES. Yes, somewhere in the future I do believe that you're learn more truths about Christ, because we all do. But your faith in Christ, your devotion to Him, is 100% obviously very real and authentic.
That to me is one of the worst things to betray trust.
How have I betrayed trust?? I've made every effort to be 200% honest. I have NEVER once lied to you nor hid things from you. If you have any specific examples you'd like to talk about, sure I'm game.
Why would you not be proclaiming the Mormon gospel from the rooftops shouting that all should be saved. So do Mormons spread their gospel (false as it is), no not really, but they are the 'only church' come to bring everyone else 'BACK' to Christ.
I do try to get the record straight of what Mormons do believe (on here that mostly involves correcting false info). But I haven't ever pressured you into changing your views (that's your choice), and I've tried really hard to better understand you and your views (I feel I have made progress in that area). I also DO believe you are a Christian, devoting your life to Christ the best you know how.
