Well dont worry Wolfwing, we will all be out of here one day, then you can go crazy, and do whatever you want, and you wont have us pesky Christians to bother you.

Any idea when that might be, so I can take off work that weedend? Cuz you know the ensuing party would be insane.

Yeah, party in hell, all non-squares welcome! We're gonna have limbo games in Limbo, wind surfing on the second level, frozen drinks on the ninth. They're installing paddle boats on the river Styx as we speak, it'll be rad.

Sounds great, to me! I heard there's as much cake and ice cream as you could possibly eat on the third level!

Why do the Leftists (liberals, progressives, atheists, pagans, marxists, western socialists and communists, south and central American socialists and communists, the Hollywood crowd, the press etc., etc.,) support Muslims and even Jihadist Muslims and repressive Islamic regimes and countries, but they are literally vitriolic and extremely oppositional towards Evangelical Christians???

Why do you murder people?

Oh wait... you don't.

If you are going to ask a question about an assumption, it would be good to ask if that assumption is true first.

Much as I'll point out that not all Christians are right-wing nutters who want to set up a theocratic state when in discussions with proponents of new atheism (or the Christian Right-Wing of America), I'll also point out that not all Muslims are theocratic terrorists who see the west of a land of decadence oppressing them while supporting the Zionists when in discussion with the Christian Right-wing of America (or proponents of the new atheism).

Both sides have accused me of supporting fundamentalism.

My rule of striking a moderate stance - if the extremists of both sides are angry about your position, you've done something right.

And you're Catholic?

Anyone care to fill me in?

Protip - It's only in America that Catholics are largely aligned with conservative parties over moral issues. Other places, Catholics tend to be aligned with liberal parties over socioeconomic issues.

What you dont know is that we have a virus that can wipe out the religious. But it doesnt work on christians since they have the true faith and god is protecting them. So instead we're bringining in the muslims to wipe you all out and THEN release the virus and take out the then dominate muslim religion which doesnt have a true god to protect them. Then we'll rule the world.

I think you are making things up. As far as I've seen, American Leftists are not like what you write.

What you think is evidence is actually not. What you'll find is that you assume that all Muslims are evil jihadist suicide bombers who want to take over the world, and people like me tell you that you are wrong. You then assume that because we say that, we must be defending all these super-evil Muslims, when in fact we are not; we are merely pointing out that not all Muslims want you dead. You then decide that because the more right-wing Christians tend to hold this view, because we disagree with it then we are therefore attempting to oppress them, because we're not letting them be right about everything.
I have seen this in some Right Wingers and Fundamentalist Christians.

Actually, I think it was the claim that she is an atheist that caused the trip up. Whatever a catholic's political leanings are, it's usually safe to assume they believe in god, so it's odd to see someone with a catholic icon professing to be an atheist. She probably has her own reasons though.

First off, I am Pagan (with a capital "P"), a Pagan whose spirituality is of my own creation, pulling from any and all sources that resonate with me (Marital Arts Philosophy and Wicca are two main sources). That being said, I oppose anyone or any religious group who is so fervent with their spiritual beliefs that they think that theirs is better than everyone elses', that all other belief systems are "false", and that everyone else must believe the same as they do "or else" (name your penalty or comdemnation).

Basically, I wish any and all "fundies" of any and all stripes would stop trying to shove their beliefs down the collective throat of society. The decision to hold or not to hold a certain spiritual belief system is a personal, private one, to be made only by the individual without threats, brainwashing, violence or coercion on the part of anyone else.

While certainly some on the right are too harsh in their opinions, the problem with the left is they aren't nearly vigilant enough against Islamic culture. Just look at Europe. They've allowed so much muslim immigration from Islamic countries that now the desire for shariah law is actually getting traction in certain countries. They have people in the streets by the hundreds, even thousands chanting "nuke nuke washington". People who publically come out against Islam have to fear for their lives.

Folks on the left were assuming the attempted attack in Times Square was some right wing tea party guy. Nope. Just your typical radical Islamist. When we want the TSA to pay more attention to the people who are actually likely to pose a threat, we get accused of racial profiling and demonized as racists. Whenever we point out it's not just the terrorists, but rather millions of non-violent muslims with terrorist sympathies who want sharia law adopted across the world, we're labeled racists and Islamophobes.

How many people are still critical of Israel over that flotilla incident even though footage showing the activists starting the violence has gone viral?
